if you are planing to swap out parts, it will be easier to take out the whole shoulder assembly (the diecast and the plastic). isn't it just clipped on?

would you be able to use small drill bit and a tiny screw to fix this?

yeah, the gear doors and sprue marks were a dead giveaway. But I 'm sure "mr Bomber" was talking about the original Hi-Metal VF-19S which was also in 1/100. The 1/65 was the Old Bandai DX. The best thing about the old Hi-metal VF-19S was that it came with a stand, land gears , and side missiles, and the price was very nice too. But with the Hi-metal R reboot, it's price went up by alot http://anymoon.com/blog/?p=3724

instead of thinking about pre-sale price, you should probably think more along the line of MSRP. then there's the double shipping if someone were to let go of their preorder, ship to them, ship to you. Just wait it out, near releases there has always been preorders opening back up, so you can get it then.
  7. There's one on ebay right now from Japan , trying to sell it for $298 http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-60-full-deformation-VF-1D-unpainted-kit-with-optional-parts-/222169749744 you can bookmark it and see if it'll sell. I think that's high so he might have to relist it for lower later. There's also one selling on Amazon.jp for 20,000 yen https://www.amazon.co.jp/1-60-%E5%AE%8C%E5%85%A8%E5%A4%89%E5%BD%A2VF-1D-%E7%84%A1%E5%A1%97%E8%A3%85%E3%82%AD%E3%83%83%E3%83%88-%E3%82%AA%E3%83%97%E3%82%B7%E3%83%A7%E3%83%B3%E3%83%91%E3%83%BC%E3%83%84%E4%BB%98/dp/B008RL1GHK/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1468386561&sr=8-11&keywords=vf-1d

  9. New images from Fanmade (the 3rd party company that made Metal Saga vanishing trooper) looks like they are going to be making a Quanta (Qan[T]) also. it says winter 2016 , but I doubt it's that early. And a future project for 2017 Fanmade = Metal Saga MoShow = Metal Build Plus Both have released 1 mobile suit Currently Moshow seems to be the better one in pretty much all the category
  10. Ok, so I've finally received my 2 MB SF WOL Option sets, the shipping box was huge (19 x 17 x 16 inches). It's just like all the photos you have already seen here and elsewhere. But what's extra this time is 8 corner spacers inside the Tamashii WE box. They really want that Display cover Sleeve to be in excellent condition. The space holder White Box is just a empty white box.

maybe it's time to put a hi-metal valk on your pillow on preorder day. it happens to all of us. I fell asleep too. well more like I took a nap but none of my alarms woke me up. But somehow still got something. have everything setup , accounts, website. etc. set alarm to wake up 15 minutes early, went to bed. nature called, Woke up in the middle of the night, around 2:45am everything dark , all systems down, all lights out. WTF happen. (power outage reseted evertything) use my phone , power back on my computer only to find everything sold out. Then notice A-E posted their listing, ,click , click click, didn't really want to pay upfront. Then notice N-Y posted their listing, Jumped on it. Didn't get my other Metal Robot , had it in my cart from N-Y but was sold out before I finish. Look around a bit, then went back to bed, didn't hear any alarms again, Woke up at 6:30am all because the Crow near my window was doing his normal mating call. Jump out of bed, rush to work, show up 30 minutes late. Think I need a new alarm, remind myself to drink more water on preorder nights, and toss some bread to the Crow tomorrow.

    Wow that was quick .
  22. You can check out this youtube review which compare the Metal Robot Hi Nu vs the Normal Robot spirits Hi Nu. Pretty much the same but better everything, well kinda. and the normal pic review http://blog.livedoor.jp/hacchaka/archives/51939356.html If the Metal Robot Hi Nu compared to the Robot Spirit Hi Nu is any indication of what to expect , then I would say they should fit in with the Robot Spirits Side Ms line. That line don't really have a official scale but they are close to 1/144. 1/100 seem to be just the right scale for me too, but I would imagine at 1/100 it would be in their Metal Composite line, and will probably be able to transform. It will be pretty huge and pricey. (looks like something I would get) Even at 1/144 , the EX-S Gundam it should be pretty close to the height of a normal Metal Build. Guess I can finally sell my old GFF EX-S Gundam now and update to the new Metal robot version. Now the real questions is , are they going to release a cheap Robot Spirit/Damashii version later.?
