That article just makes it sound to me like the guy who founded HG is a very intelligent, if not unscrupulous, business man. He bought stuff low and sold high... that's the dream isn't it? The only way to do an Alpha justice would be to make it in 1/35 scale like Gakken did. The MPC just took a small scale and refused to make any compromises... compromises that really needed to be made. Making it smaller could work but you'd have to give-up on making it poseable. I'd be okay with that, I'd buy a few, but what I want to see is for someone to take the lessons learned from the MPC and make a bigger toy, without diecast, with multiple adjustments to finally make an Alpha that really dominates. If they wanted to follow it up with a 16" tall Beta, yeah, I'd spend some money on that also.

I think we have a pretty decent general atmosphere. Sketch just mastered English via communication with some real arseholes so his take on civility is not berating your mother and race. When you look at things from that point of view, he really was quite gentle in his assessment. - just messin' with ya Sketch.

Graham also has a the only nice and tight VF-0S in existence... Just playin.

Alphas would be... but I think the sentiment is that he'd like to see cheap plastic Alphas of any scale.

The question is, is it a second edition? I'd love to see detailed pics of the fragile parts vs the improved parts. I'd love a lot of things though...

Please let me know as I was planning on doing a little Gashapon review thread on my website for Kaiyodo 001, Kaiyodo 002, & Bandai Third. Did Bandai release a First and a Second a while agoo and that's why it just coincedentally seems to me that they picked up where Kaiyodo left off?

The price is definitely cheaper for folks like me. What are other people going to do? You buy the YF-19 now and pay $30 to ship it to you. You buy the Fast Pack later and pay $20 to ship it to you. I buy the giftset later and save $15 on the MSRP of both items packaged separately and have one item shipped to me for $40. Add to that the benefit of a giftset taking up less space in the closet and the potential regularizing of the pricing (some people are paying $150, some people are paying $200, at some point we're all going to know a reasonable price to pay for these things).

I'm guessing the OVAs won't be subtitled in English so that wouldn't do much for me. I'm very curious to see if this will be a reissue or will incorporate improvements to the overall design. I would really like for Yamato to get back to basics and not make me buy things I don't want to get a toy i do.

Of all the Mac+ valks the YF-19 is my least favorite... but I definitely love them all. I simply can't stand the ultra awkard Gerwalk mode for any of the valks and I think the 19 is the worst offender. In battloid mode the YF-19 reminds me of Whoa from Kung Pao, Enter the Fist. This kinda sounds like trashing but let me reiterate I do love it. On the drawings, is it just me or do the super parts seem kinda cumbersome?
