I'm not disagreeing but they did have different heat shields.

1/12 is also just too darned big for most folks. My collection of Yamato toys takes up a huge amount of my storage and i can't imagine this will be any better.

Well at that price it's cheaper to buy it directly from the threezero store where you also get free shipping.

They're trolling us and will blow up the ship in the 2 hour episode and reveal the real ship in the next episode.

Yes, previous conversation indicates a change in hue though not dramatic.

They'd probably bundle it with the Arcadia display stand and charge the same as they did for the VF-1S with display stand they originally sold.

I think using that hook in battroid mode for a long time with the boosters on the backpack also makes the hook loose. I can't swear to it but I've seen some loose hooks out there and that's my guess as to why.

Man, you'd think owning most the V2s at one point I wouldn't be so excited to get another but I'm super bummed to be waiting until my private warehouse loads up a bit more. Such is life.

The differences are tiny though and you can swap out the strike cannon to make it look like a TV super.

No, just VF1, destroid, and bad guys.

Jungle had a Max 1S for like $220 the other week. Keep an eye out, they're out there.

The Arcadia valks are mostly plastic so if you're looking for the heft of a metal toy you won't find that. They are definitely big improvements over the Hi-Metal toys in that they have integrated landing gear and heat shield which is a big deal. They also have superb manufacturing tolerances.

Oops yeah, my bad, I meant the 1/35. I have a 1/20 Bandai I haven't built but since it predates the newer Wave releases I was wondering if the Wave was the better kit.

How do the Wave 1/20 kits stack up against the Bandai?

The tweet from Arcadia said this weekend.

'Perfect tranc' is translator gibberish for perfect transformation. The 1/48 AB didn't sell well because there were lots of other toys to choose from and the scheme has limited appeal. The 1/60 v2 AB got a better version of the paint scheme and was limited which is why it's not a shelf warmer.

The miria figure is based on the Yamato Fyana figure which is a Figma precursor.

You should wait for reviews to make sure they didn't muff the QA or something but otherwise these toys are rock solid and you'll be fine. Also, you could probably sell it in a year to redeem most or all your money if you're not impressed... assuming Bandai doesn't make a VF1 announcement.

It's a Toynami product, maybe just a sku error.

You are armed with the weight and the to and from locations, perhaps there is an online tool that could be used now to come up with a calculation if NY doesn't do it for you during check out.

Thank you for the previous help with the height of the SDF Macross in storm attacker mode. I have another one for you guys. Does anyone know how tall the VF-4G is supposed to be in battroid? I want to give the true-scale when I update my review to include the Arcadia release.
