  1. Oh my it must be getting close.... That bill is going to hurt!
  2. Keeping my word... and I went back and did it for the Yamato Version 1 releases too!
  3. That pilot is over compensating
  4. nose assemblies seem a whole lot more feasible.

Correct, collectors in general, do not appreciate enemy mecha as much as the heroes. Even the SV-262, which is a particularly cool enemy mecha that transforms, sold like a poop in a box (though unkind reviews didn't help). For manufacturers it's a lose/lose: no cheap repaints to pad production costs and low sales volumes.
  6. Okay guys, who gives better head, Aoshima or Toynami? I bet I could have worded that better....
  7. The pilot isn't removable so if its' not in there someone did some work on the toy. No broken kneecaps and all wings accounted for is nice. I paid $150 shipped for a complete with unused stickers red Alpha without yellowing not too long ago if that helps you identify a top end. It would also be worth more (though not for a particularly good reason) if it's stamped "Made in Japan" as the Gakken Japan red Legioss is harder to come by.
  8. Oh man, what a bummer. Mine just shipped so I probably won't be able to whoosh it around until Monday.
  9. Is this going to be at Entertainment Earth? I want.

Fast packs = covers on (because they are on in space). No fast packs depends on if you're imagining the vehicle in space or not.

I would take the official measurement and divide by 80 and 100 to get the range... But I think you're getting ahead of yourself since we don't even know another Macross HMR is in the pipeline.
  12. Okay, so no separate marking guide, probably just the same instructions and guide that came with the anime colors. Thanks for checking that out for me.
  13. Perfect, thanks!
  14. Still looking for a response on the Wood Land Color GBP Marking guide question. It would be an insert separate from the instruction manual but in the same baggy if one exists. Also, does the 30th anniversary reissue of Yamato's 1/60 V2 VF-1D come in a box with a flip-top lid like the original release or does it come in a box without a lid like all of Yamato's later releases? This question would also be valid for the 30th reissue of the VF-1S/J Hikaru and VF-1S DYRL type Focker releases.
  15. End of May was my guess. Hope it happens!

I like having Macross HMR releases to look forward to. I hope we get something announced soon.
  17. They seem to go quiet for a while and then surprise with several pieces of info at once. As it is, we know what they're making pretty much through the end of the year at this point so I wouldn't expect any news from them until closer to the end of the year. Maybe Summer Wonderfest will bring news of a December VF-1 reissue or something but they dropped the VE-1 reissue out of the blue so maybe not.

He asked about metal for the internal parts.

Other than the reason, being cost, there is no reason.
  20. I still don't believe that HMR was available without a stand and if it was, it was part of the same production run.
  21. Yes, but if you contributed a certain amount for the MZ23 crowd funding campaign you got a special blue and white Garland.
  22. I'm still waiting on my Arcadia crowd-funding Garland.
  23. There were non-Macross HMR reissues like Dougram and maybe Xabungle. The Macross toys though have been one and done. The Hikaru 1J was a shelf warmer so you probably saw some pop up as desperate stores unloaded their stock at cost to other resellers who then sold it at only a slight mark-up.
  24. There haven't been any HMR reissues.
