I stopped watching Enterprise when they had an encounter with the Borg...WTF??? So the entire intro by Q and consecutive Borg eps in TNG were crap? Not to mention "First Contact". Meh...good riddance to bad rubbish IMO.

An oldie, but a goodie

I played the game since Beta, and was really into it for over a year. I dropped it like a bad habit when WoW came out. Why? The games absolutely destroys the storyline and accepted continuity. Thousands of Jedi and Dark Jedi running around in a time post ANH? Meh, you can call it an alternate universe all you want, thats not why I bought and played the game. Purists will have to agree that what SOE has done to continuity has been a sin higher then that of another company that took another series and combined it into ... you know what I mean Lag, Lag, Lag, Lag...in almost two years navigation in all the major cities is still at a snail's crawl. Professions are unbalanced, and even with the CU there still is little hope for improvement. I thought with the Space Expansion I'd be charged to keep on playing, but even in space the game got repetative and boring. Graphics wise the game is on point totally...yet pretty pictures can only take you so far. If you want to try out a fun and well made game, try out World of Warcraft. At least it wont feel like your playing a live Beta...

Yeah, if it wasnt for my lovely bride to be I would never had heard of or cared for anime.... Ok not anime but this anime: Chobits, DigiCharat, Azumanga Daioh, Ramna 1/2, Dragonball & Love Hina. Far cry from my Macross, Southern Cross, Initial D, Akira, yadda yadda yadda, basically your blow em up, crash em up, mess em up flicks and series that dominate my anime collection...

I am a bit disapointed as well...The "S" definatly needs to get bigger, and the "S" on the belt needs to go. He looks like he's wearing "Daisy Dukes" over the tights As for the darker red, it reminded me at once of the Evil Superman from Part 3. I really hope this is still pre-production...b/c the suit gets a 2 out of 5 imo.

In ANH...I'll concur that Kenobi was too old to be more then a match for Vader. The duel in ESB is more a test of Luke's skills then anything else. If you watch it the first part of the duel in the freezing chamber Vader is taking him on with one hand. He toyed with him in the room where he launched everything but the refresher at Luke with the Force. In the control room he really laid it on him to finish playtime and break Luke's will. ROTJ, he had his hands full against Luke, still managed to gain the upper hand until he pushed Luke over...damn Skywalker temper!

If you look a little more into Scott's REF uniform you can slightly see a Southern Cross influence around the collar. For Robotech's purpose I think its a good attempt to start having some type of continuity between generations.

From what I have heard the TF movie will sorta replay the original animated mini series...a showing of them on Cybertron, and later crash on Earth. Not sure if Spike or Sparkplug are in it but there should be a total of 10-12 Transformers. Divided into 5 or 6 Decepticon and Autobots. Here's my wish List: Decepticons Megatron Starscream Thundercracker Skywarp Soundwave (with Ravage, Laserbeak, Rumble) Receptor Autobots Optimus Prime Ironhide Bumblebee Ratchet Wheeljack Prowl

When I played the Palladium rpg in high school I thought it was fun. Couldnt really gripe about tech specs since our GM was very fair. Also it was fun as hell to blast Hellcats and Invid in an AGAC! For its purpose the RT/Macross/ASC/New Gen/Sentinals game did very well, and considering the horrid showing in the gaming consoles. I'd take the pen & paper versions any day. I still got my character sheets too...anyone wanna game? hehe. I even tried out Rifts for a while, had a Coalition Military Specialist...GM tried to throw in some Zentraedi against us one night walking too close to a ley line.

In a word...overkill lol... Played as a Macross General against 3 hard AI's...couple of missile barrages and skull strikes with a macross cannon sprinkled on top and I was victorious. I'd have to agree with Opus...the units look sweet but are uber hard to take out.
