I'd save up to get the Yamato Scopedog. That Takara Scopedog doesn't look too great and certainly doesn't look like it justifies that pricetag.

Classic VF-1S is one of my favorite mech ever, so it's safe to say that Kawamori is one of my favorite mecha designers . Mamoru Nagano and Izubuchi are still #1 for me though, but Kawamori runs close second.

I heard a rumor that Wave TALKED about doing plastic kits... but this was months ago, and in a IRC channel, so it's probably just hopeful speculation on someone's part. And those Chidori and Tessa figures are AMAZING (above pic), any idea where these can be obtained?

Just saw them on HLJ myself. I REALLY want the TDD-1 I think I'll wait a while to order though, after the holidays maybe. Also, the new Tessa figures are available now too

Not planning on buying the series again, not in singles at least. Maybe if a cheaper thinpacked boxset comes out, I might. Even though ADV tends to strip the extras from those or so I hear... I rarely use DVD extras anyway.

The DVD case looks pretty good... but I don't like that box. Whereas with the Animego, I liked the boxes, but felt the cases were a little simple. (but I reather liked that, still...)

Gah, I was afraid of Quake 4 ending up like this... Even when I first saw the caps I said it looked like Doom 3 without D3's atmosphere. Since Doom 3 was a little lacking in multiplayer, I think they should have went arena with Quake4 to make up for that. If they ddi that though... all of the action would end up a slideshow even on the most powerful PCs.

That's the point! I really dislike these clear figure variations... they make no sense (don't recall Vash having stealth camo) and don't look to good on a shelf. Maybe it's supposed to be Vash's ghost?
