Calling it in public gets support for others to agree about some great wrong doing. It was fun light hearted topic that kept getting dumber and dumber. I was watching it first mainly for content incase someone posted offensive links. Did a little editing on that and then knew I would have to check on the topic from time to time. What did I find things got dumb and dumber. I thought people didn't want to babied? You're all big boys. I trust that most in it knew where the topic was going and it lead to its end. The topic ran its course and went into retarded land. Please don't any jump up and down from that statement. A lot of "worthy" topics are talk to death and go into retarded land and are put down its nothing new.

I want the script to capitalize off the success of broke back mountain. Two young cadets sharing a room. Stranded and fighting to survive on a horrible planet. They find love and then try to cover it up. Makes perfect sense. Kirt tries to hide it by dating many woman but never settling down. Spock represses sexually altogether (with an occasional seven year itch). Just look at Spock's death in the Wraith of Kahn. That wasn't two best friends saying good bye but two true life partners to be. Keep reaching for that finally frontier.

You people expect me to read all this? Women like Macross because Robotech.com is full of female fans? I thought the jury was still out on the true gender of the females on Robotech.com. I mean can you offically be called a woman if the operation isn't complete?

Funny I just was talking to someone and found out there 9 year old son enjoys reading the expanded universe. That should tell you something.

I have held the belief that while some of the EU isn't half bad a lot of it is just your typical cheap science fiction/fanasty material that you'll likely find some fat and ball guy reading on the bus. Such a comment actually got me banned for an hour at a SW board. I still stand by that statement. These stories have little to do with the SW theme. Just someone's dime store trash with an occasional TIE fighter in the background.

This is Macross World after all. Macross is the central focus and theme of every thing here. If talking on end about Macross is getting boring for some cause Macross is currently stagnant then its time from them to move on. This site and message board are pretty subject specfic. When we were smaller there was a lot more OT but people abused it and we got larger. Religion and Politics I'll be happy to discuss them but the problem are two kinds of people. One person who says some thing with no respect for others beliefs and another person who takes offensive at the slightly hint of disrespect to their beliefs. The insensitives and the oversensitives. The former will offend even the moderates and the later is offended by the moderates.

Of 40 Topic in the other Sci-fi/Anime section currently on my first read page. About 19 roughly 50% are not directly related to Sci-fi/Anime but are typically those topics of interests among geeks and even pop culture. Video games, the latest movie coming this summer, toys unrelated to Macross or sci-fi. A hit TV show. The order of importance of what stays is Macross, Anime/Sci-fi. The farther a topic goes away from those the less chance it has of being closed. Was one of Togo's topics recently closed or something?

Interesting as I recall most stores have a policy of not accepting returns for open dvds. Has anyone returned them because their dvd player wouldn't play them? My biggest security feature beef? You can't fast forward past the FBI warning everytime you pop one your forced to watch it. Some DVD I rented forces you to watch the previews.

I read an article in the business section of the paper. It seems Walmart will be changing with inventory. The exact plan hasn't been set yet but Walmart will focusing on items that sale well instead of having a well arounded selection. In other words you come into Walmart looking for Fresh Berry sent Tide or your favorite version of Coke you may not find it any more. A lot of companies according to the article consider Walmart their number one customer. Since Walmart seems to effect everything expect you ability to choose lessen to various degrees at other retailers.

The average Zentradi is not bigger than a Valk. A Valk can't fit into a Regult like an average Zentradi. The use of a disguise as one of the enemy to conduct a rescue mission is just a common theme. To believe Max could do it you had to scretch your imagination a little.

So a guy maybe pushes a 9.99 figure for 20-30 bucks online. After you subtract online related fees, gas, time, packaging, mailing, emailing, etc etc, its probably less than minimum wage per hour. Aren't most Scalper the guys who charges the highest shipping prices too? Well a $5 toy is marked up to $8. Shipping and handling could be $4 (if you go the slowest route). That $5 figure becomes $12 and 5-10 business days by the time you get it. Not every thing I am interested in is worth it. Some items I'm on the fence about. Need to see them up close to close the deal. Some would rather do that they drive to every store in town. I have never really drove to every store in town but if I'm in one store for something unrelated I do check out the toy section. My time isn't wasted cause I'm already out and nearby. Of course when I search like this rarely find anything. Sure I could pay more online or drive all around town but I refuse to either. You know what? I like the sun. In theory you can live indoor 24/7 but I love stepping outside.
