  1. Rotora Brakes is a long time sponsor of mine and they needed an Evo for their booth to show off a new braking system they developed. 2. That's what I'm hoping for. The FPs would be a bonus, I just want the DYRL? head. They already have the mold for it, just gotta do the right color (should be a slightly darker brown than the TV CF, like the original v1 1/60 TRU CF). I'd also kill for a Low Viz v1 (gray) and v2 (woodland camo) in 1/60. My Low Viz 2 1/48 is the only 1/48 I kept.
  3. I just envision that she takes a shower.
  4. I'm hoping it means more VF-1s and Zero reworks. This year is the 10th anniversary of Zero. Someone's gotta celebrate that somehow. But I'm probably dreaming. I couldn't care less for McDonalds Valks.
  5. Brown (Cannon Fodder/Mass Production) VF-1A with a "movie" A-type head (more angular, larger eyepiece and a black eyepiece surround). They could even make it an exclusive and I'd buy it. I just prefer the movie A-type head to the TV A-type head.
  6. I'm still waiting for a DYRL 1/60 v2 VF-1A Cannon Fodder.
  7. Anyone know where I could get a Ozma Renewal for non-ebay-rape prices?
  8. The money that goes to Japan ultimately goes to China since that's where all the toys are made anyway What's funny is not even 30-40 years ago, most people would have had the same feelings about Japan that most people feel about China now.
  9. You give thousands of dollars or more to China every month, what's $15?
  10. Wait, has it really been 10 years since Macross Zero? Dang I feel old all of the sudden.
  11. Yes. ...And a 0D. I don't think I can say that enough. I wants a 0D!!
  12. I got back in to playing recently and finally hit Captain (yeah, I never had made it past Commander... Having kid #2 will do that to you lol). Leveling seems so much easier, everything is vastly improved from where it was previously. Love the new Duty Officer setup (very "treky" feeling). Overall very happy with the experience. I'm a lifer so I don't have to deal with the F2P stuff thank goodness.
  13. Is there going to be a V2 VF-25S/Full Armor bundle? 'Cause if so, I want in. I miss my Full Armor Ozma
  14. Don't know if anyone remembers me, used to be here a lot but its been awhile. Anyway, here's my Evo X MR at SEMA in 2011.
  15. There's where I put mine, and I can shake it around either by the stand or by the plane and it doesn't come loose. It wedges on there just right.
  16. I didn't have any problem putting the VF-0D on it's stand.
  17. Yes, LEGO has been making a lot of specialized pieces lately, but after they introduce them in a couple sets you start seeing them everywhere in their sets. Mega Bloks will make pieces for sets that are used in only one of their sets. LEGO sets were pretty bad a few years ago, but since 2008 they've really been improving things, trying to get back to the "old way" but still with modern improvements.
  18. That'd be great and all, but they use a lot of pieces that couldn't even be fudged with proper LEGOs. They have no qualms about popping out one-off pieces to make a certain design work, unlike LEGO.
  19. I'm pretty sure that was either a custom or from one of the other recent "trading figure" series that were fighter-only. Edit: Yep, from the Chara-Works 1/144 collection: http://2008reviews.figures.com/showgallery.php?cat=866
  20. Just finished the new Pelican set today. As crappy as some of the other kits are, the Pelican is awesome. Same issues with the pieces, but they threw enough pieces and cleaned up the engineering enough that everything locks together properly and doesn't fall apart when you touch it. It's big enough to hold 4 seated Spartans and a few more standing, as well as a weapons rack and when the loading ramp is down you can mount a machine gun (both are available from a cheap single Red Spartan you can buy, there's also a 4-pack of Spartans/Marines you can buy that have plenty of weapons and can fill out your compliment). Dunno if it can carry the Warthog or Scorpion, I doubt it can, maybe the Warthog but I don't have one yet to try. It may also be able to hold a Mongoose inside but I don't have one of those yet either. Either way, at $60 and nearly a thousand pieces, the Pelican is well worth it. http://www.megabloks.com/Shop/MEGA_Bloks/Halo/Halo_UNSC_Pelican_Dropship_96824/ Some of the other new sets: http://www.megabloks.com/Shop/MEGA_Bloks/Halo/Covenant_Wraith_96832/ http://www.megabloks.com/Shop/MEGA_Bloks/Halo/UNSC_Shortsword_96835/ http://www.megabloks.com/Shop/MEGA_Bloks/Halo/UNSC_Mongoose_96849/
  21. YES. I will totally buy this. If it has decent gimmicks I'd even pay up to $300. Web Exclusive "TV mode" accessory pack anyone?
  22. Yes, because you could tell all of that from two pictures? Oh wait, I forgot what forum I'm on. Continue panicking. I never understood why the RROD thing was such a big deal. Yeah, it was inconvenient, but Microsoft took care of the problem if you weren't a dumba$$, even years after the fact. I had a launch day Core model that RROD'd after a couple years (playing the Lost Planet demo), I ended up buying an Elite at the time and then only a year ago sent it back through Microsoft's completely automated system even though I had never registered the thing to begin with. They fixed it, didn't charge me a dime, and even sent me a XBL card for my troubles.
  23. I wonder how a VF-27 would look with a classic Dobber paint scheme...
  24. Zero to panic in 10 posts. Very nice.
  25. This comic looks awesome I should pick it up. I want toys/models!
