I love my VE-1 and VF-1D. Haven't gotten any single-seaters other than the unpainted kit VF-1S yet.

I haven't had many Revoltechs, I admit, but I've been disappointed with every one I've had. On the other hand, I've been nothing but impressed with all my Robot Damashiis. Revoltech covers a lot of characters and many aren't available via any other form, but in direct comparison (such as the Revoltech Ingram vs. a CMs Brave Chogokin Ingram), the Revoltech loses in just about every aspect other than straight posability. Your mileage may vary, I suppose, but considering the RDs aren't *that* much more expensive than the Revoltechs, give me a RD any day.

Far far far far far better than the Revoltechs. Think MSIA but with significantly better materials and construction, also bigger. Revoltechs are primarily PVC and usually have pretty bad paint application. RDs are ABS and POM with only a tiny bit of PVC, the accessories are usually ABS and the paint applications are significantly better.

And that explains the recent rash of C&Ds. Really, I don't mind if they want to start legitimately importing Macross goods and selling them. Their draconian control over the licensing is getting a little long in the tooth, hopefully they are seeing the error of their ways.

I got the collectors edition so I have a code to get the first DLC for free, but it's not coming out until July I believe is what I read. It also has some free stuff for your XBL avatar and some themes as well.

Picked up Alan Wake and Lost Planet 2 last night. Haven't had a chance to play LP2 yet, but Alan Wake is a blast. I made the mistake of playing until 2am... Pretty impressive, great experience.

I'm definitely getting the "normal" version. I liked my Yamato for what it was, and this so far seems to improve on it in every way. As long as everything locks together properly in each mode and it can actually be posed in any mode other than Shuttle mode without flopping in to a jumbled mess, I'll be sold.

The fight with Mecha-Whiplash at the end was woefully short, especially when the fight with all the Hammeroids was so kick ACII and especially when compared to the fight with Iron Monger. Heck, all of Tony's fights with Whiplash were short. Poor guy never even got a chance, especially with all the build up of his character at the beginning. But, then, the Mk II vs. Mk IV fight was 150% awesomeness, so I guess that makes up for it. And agreed on Scarlett.

No, I think that's a "final" and "non-photochopped" image of what the "special" version will look like. The normal one will have the shark mouth, the special will have no shark mouth but the nose art and the black stripe. At least that's how I understood it.

I had a rare miss in the HCMPros I got today from the big sale HLJ had a while back. I've never had an issue with any of my HCMPros, and I have quite a few, but I got 2 Zaku Warriors (the regular kind, speaking of lolseed) and one of them has a dislocated shoulder (joint is popped out and I don't know how to get it back in), all the joints are loose, the various removable panels fall off if you look at them wrong, etc. etc. I haven't opened the second one yet but I'm hoping it's better. Edit: Just checked the second one, it's the same Fortunately all the rest of the ones I got in the order were good.

I just got the Dragonar 1 with Cavalier version on a whim since it was on sale at HLJ and I am very impressed. Will be picking up the Falguen ASAP, and maybe the Opening Silhouette version if I can find one, your pictures make it look pretty good.

Oh of course it is. I do have a problem with impulse buying a lot of cheap stuff (or not so cheap, sometimes in the case of the stuff I get from Japan :eek: ). She's trying to focus me in to just buying stuff that might be worth something some day.
