that "modernized" challenger has been around for years. A similar thing was done for the charger too and we have all seen the end result of that.

Black Hole, Hardware, Split second, Screamers. The movies may not be the bestbut each one has that "memorable" scene that makes you just want to watch it.

The only ones im missing are a 1/48 VF11 and the VT, VE. For the VT/VE i would just need a conversion kit for my 1/48 resin VF-1s I dont care if they dont transform.

I finished the base camo and large detail paint. The backpack the railgun and the radar attach to will be constructed tomorrow I have also given it a base wash of burnt umber mixed with lamp black to help the details pop a little.

I notice he tends to post on anything to do with robotech os any thread he creates. Seeing how this is BASHING robotech and he didnt create it he probably knows better then to say anything.

Thanks Jade and Honneamise, no updates on him unfortunately i had to take a little break. I plan on finishing it up this weekend. in the mean time i have been tinkering on the new release from DML of their initial production Tiger1 wow what a kit. Kurisama your Gerwalk looks great and will be a good addition to your collection. There are alot of us who wish Hasegawa would issue a Gerwalk kit. Keep us posted on your progress.

Alot of those guys had sheilds Cosplay at a convention =good, Roleplay in the middle of a city park when the reniasance fair isnt even going on = bad. Im a WW2 enthusiast and own many different uniforms. You wont find me walking down the street any given day in a Luftwaffe or Army airborne jump uniform. 2 things would happen1 id get pointed and laughed at 2 id get the crap kicked out of me depending on the uniform of choice. In my opinion these guys in the video crossed the line of hobby VS too much in one place at one time. A 6mm plastic BB hurts alot less than smacking each other with one of those "paded"(for lack of beter term) swords. Ever been hit in the head full on by a nephew with a plastic whuffle ball bat? He already has his foot in it. Alot of the newer sound mixes for dubs are done at or by skywalker sound. Its not suprising at all.

Turpentine, Qtips, and old toothbrushes work the best for most airbrush cleaning. If you use it alot like i do youll need the turpentine to break up some of the more stubborn internal buildups.

Splinter scheme started. I also put my strike battroid in the pic for size too. Thats it for tonight i have to be up early.

The base coat is on. I used tamiya XF23 light blue(more like duck egg blue) for the base coat. The base color is the closest match i could get to the color in the game and on the paper model. I also included a pic next to a 1/72 scale VF1S for comparison. Even a battroid would have trouble with this thing.

I havnt completed the back assembly yet. Reason being that i have to paint REX as it is. If i put the backpack on right now i wouldnt be able to get inot some areas. Keep an eye out i should have the base camo done tonight.

I warned you at the beginning that the canopy would be a handfull. TOLD YA SO!
