The firewarrior walk through lists them as adeptus. I have always seen the adeptus in green. The shoulder emblem can be anyones guess. Just like space wolves are grey and ultramarines are blue , bloodangels red. Ill have to double check some things though.

Lemme double check real quick. I remember blue armor in there and the ultras are the onle GW staple army that uses blue.. Sorry i was 1/2 right. It turns out that the adeptus Kidnapped the Tau etherial in the beginning because the commander had just fallen under the influence of chaos so they were following his orders. The Ultras pop up later to "assist" you in getting the Tau leader back and bringing down the"infected" portion if the adeptus chapter of space marines.

Wow thats alot to actually spell out on here. The easiest answer i can give to some of those is to invest in the GW books and converse with some of the other WH40K players you know. I can however answer some of your more simple questions. Blood angels are blood angels as long as they are red and you call them that. The black outline around the white is just someones personal preference in painting. The MARINES in Fire warrior were ultramarines with blue armor. they guys in green with the eagles on their helmet are Imperial guard and that marking is pretty much standard on all their gear.. The Emporer is "dead" for lack of a better word and kept inside a stasis field until his resurrection. If i remember correctly the carapace armor is the space marine under armor kind of like a bodysuit and the "sisters" cant wear it since it is only made for the marines and the marines tend to be around 8 feet tall. This adds into the next answer. The marines can sire children since the plumbing is intact that is if the woman doesnt mind intercourse with something bigger than a horse. You could use carapace armor or something like it for your sisters. Just roll out some VDR rules for it and apply it to the characters. Be sure to ask your opponent if its ok for you to use a VDR unit before you try to field it.

If the decals for this are the usual quality devin puts out then noone will be disappointed. I got a set off of him a coulpe months back for my 1/48 UD strike valk. the sheet was so comprehensive i am still putting them on.

Id rather build my own. The detail on those while in the right spots seems heavy and the paint seems thick. The colors are also a little bright and off register. The weathering is also heavy handed and unrealistic. If they float your boat then sure get then but right now all those same vehicles are being offered as kits by tamiya and italeri for at or under 20 dollars.

Wow the airbrush is working out even better than i thought it would for the weight saving. Keep it up!

Excellent work ! i wish i could get this kit but im saving up for 2 big purchases. 1 is the 1/72 scale monster and the other is something you will all have to wait and see it IS macross related though.

I was thinking of a what if the other night for the Max series. What if they took a step back a bit and did more movies in the time of the MFP. Be nice to see black interceptors and motorcycle gangs going at it again instead of monster trucks with no body shells and tina turner wearing chain mail.

quick falcon update. weathering is near 60% done. Still looks a little clean to me.

Nope not yet. I havnt found a local supplier of balsa foam which would be the best thing to shape the fuselage out of. i want to hack out some of the kits in the pile my wife got me for christmas. Almost done with the FMMF.

Im ignoring the whole mandible thing. I have 2 pics where the ones on this filming model appear to be paralell and they are pulled straight from the film. other still images i have seen all seem to show a mild distortion due to a mild fisheye to the lense and taking pics of models as large as thse requires such a lense and depth of field that perspective will get all messed up. The model looks fine to me. my story sticking to it.

No mods whatso ever. Aside from adding the blast marks with a small grinding bit on a dremel. ALL the parts came in the kit as is. It is 99% accurate to the filming model . The only thing i found wrong in the kit was the decals. The grey for the panels was too brown in tone and the red wasnt even red, it was more of a dark burgundy color.

Actually i want to do a wall mount display for my father in law. Refit at the top and E at the bottom. He is a big trek fan. im more into starwars myself. Speaking of which heres a falcon update for you guys GREEBLIES! Base paint and the first stages of weathering are on. the weathering wil take the longest.

that would be all 6 seperate. the B-E are 1/1400 scale where the refit is 1/350. The C, D and E will be lit the refit, and B wont be.

The falcon is my priority right now. With this many pieces if i stop ill never restart.

Oh yeah she missed me. She basically searched the net while i was gone, emailed me a big list to pick from and out of my choices she drew her own . That way she knew what i was looking for but i hqad so many choices i still didnt know what she was going to get out of it all. Heres a little update of my Fine Molds Millennium Falcon for you. there are alot of Greeblies on this kit. 900 pieces in total!. im just starting step 22 in the instructions.

Add to the above all 6 variants of the starship enterprise, a Voyager, a night vision equipped panther tank, a Famo german tank recovery truck with trailer, a Russian SA-13 A/A missile tank, a Marine corps AAV7 with the EAAK armor package, a British warrior fiels maintenance vehicle,and about 50 pollyS and testors acryl paints and that wraps up the rest. I FEEL SWAMPED. after the Xwing though im going to put the finishing touches on both my 1/48th strike valks.

I think it was the primer not wanting to adhere to the resin itself because i always use a very low tac tape. It isnt doing it all over just in annoying places. im going to let the paint cure for another full 24 hours before i try again. maybe it just hasnt set yet since its so cold here.

Dont say i didnt warn you . and this isnt even 1/2 of what my wife got me for christmas
