  1. Well the VF-17S is done. This was a fun kit to build overall. the decals are a bit transparant though. Im working on the VF-19 Fire next.
  2. I have met Gary Sinese, Jeremy Bulloch, David Prowse, Ewan Mcgregor, and Warwick Davis, all of these were while i was out and about not at any kind of convention. My wife ran into Gary later when he was at the base here and he remembered her. That is cool. We didnt rush up and babble to them or hound them with stupid movie questions. We just introduced ourselves and said that we enjoyed their films. Ewan was the best out of all of them though. Wouldnt think he has a liking for tanks.
  3. a 1/35 would be big enough to make RC using parts from some of the toy robots out now. Id have to figure out the calibre of the cannons once i got it though and see which type of fruit/veg fits best in it.
  4. I cant remember the name of it but Roy flew one in the Claudia/Misa flashback episode.
  5. Actually there werent any bad spots in my kit. It wasnt warped. The only real area to look out for is the wrists. The instructions make the hands out to be moveable. They arent. I just followed the instructions and trimmed the pieces carefully. Always test fit along the way too since you dont want to over cut. Im using Tamiya Nato Black for the base coat. i just sprayed it on actually. The pics above are still in raw vinyl.
  6. Heres a little something for the fans. VF-17S battroid. in 1/72 scale Finishing details will go on today and hopefully the basecoat too.
  7. Id have to take measurements off my 1/160 monster for the gun lengths.
  8. Aside from the yammies though 1/60 is an unusual scale. Now if you were to do it in 1/48 or 1/35.
  9. Those are the trucks im talking about. The Centipede cargo truck and the slightly smaller roach coach.
  10. The centipede is the one. It has the bulky look that works well. It would be great in 1/72 scale to go with all the other available kits.
  11. Interested here but cant commit to buy until i see a finished cast.
  12. Heres one. Not exactly engrish but it makes you wonder if they actually understand what it is they are saying. http://www.collegehumor.com/movies/1695207/
  13. all of it sounds like good news to me. Will the new motors be going into my ship as well?
  14. Repeatedly kicks Grayson in the rear as we wait in line for the kit
  15. Shoot i have been watching my macross like that for 3 years now. My projector doesnt leave jaggies in the image though
  16. Sorry , look at it this way. Considering "he who must not be nameds" attitude in recent years its almost good paybac if he gets RCd. Now back to my 1/72 VF-17S battroid
  17. A model of that 10 wheeled mobile food stand would be cool theres a good lineart of it in Perfect memory.
  18. If you watch DYRL theres a scene after the first battle that shows a defender/tomahawk type leg walk right in front of the camera. That would actually be the best input for your motion points.
  19. Judging by some of the details and parts breakdown, plus overall finish of the castings it looks like this could have been mastered by Tanmen. It has alot on common with the parts layout of his 1/48 scale one.
  20. Taking a break from polishing my HK tank i picked this little gem up at the Comet miniatures store in london.still have to paint the engine glow and i am thinking of shaving off the guns on it and making them in the deployed position. I have also fixed the flight pods from how they look in the pic. They were mounted too low its fixed now. (no pics f that yet)
  21. DUDE! just DUDE!
  22. Well you should have let US know FIRST and then ebayed it. Im sure we would have met the price you paid for it.
  23. HWR BASH! I like the spot im at and it would eb unfair to the others to try to jump to the head of the line
  24. MINE! mine. mine. mine
