i like the part about preserving the arts and culture. im sure most of us have observed that the various city colonies have reproductions of famous historical landmarks, structures, public sculptures and artworks in general. Macross 7 has a Tokyo/NewYork/Brooklyn feel to it, & Frontier has recreated San Francisco and Shibuya.

Gad! for the first few seconds, i thought it was a cosplay stage, turns out it was a FIGHT ENTRANCE ! nice!

Oh! i thought i was the only one to notice an EXGear figure prototype in the photos behind the Macross Quarter toy~ i wonder if we'll get a rage Klan in fast pack...

i sometime feel down that Macross isnt so famous here in the Philippines, but at least my fandom's spared of the shallow crazy fanboys/girls here XD Monkee, the Skull 1 Battroid cosplayer, is just awesome ! im jealous i wasnt able to make one earlier! by the way, we also have a Ranka id love to wear a Battroid costume for myself (but not as a VFGirl ! ban the damned thought !) im too fat right now to make a good proportioned Battroid, so maybe not.

oh, a live action tokusatsu-style Gundam isnt really farfetched.

after Frontier, i watched Gundam 00 just coz my buddy gave me copies of it. im not watching anime right now. wildly anticipating the MacF movie though.

i like it! but did you really spent that much time making it in MS Paint ? isnt that a crazy tiring effort?

nah. those things are tiny compared to the Macross Ranka.

thanks for the comments! you'll never recognize these characters because they all come from a Macross Frontier sidestory featuring the squad members/poor unfortunate souls of Battle 25's Vermillion Squad. okay, so it's fan fiction i read it here: http://forums.spacebattles.com/showthread.php?t=141502 and made character sketches on the fly. but i dont think the story's going to get any further than there, it's been months since the writer last updated. XD

DYRL flight suits: we use a white mechanic's overalls and stitch black ribbons for the black markings. white rubber foam sheets to make the shoulder pads, arm guards, leg guards & belts. we just paint whatever colors are needed on the foam.
