heyyy!!! nice idea! but to really get a good comparative estimate of their heights, their feet need to be posed on one parallel plane, and not in a floating sort of pose and Sharon Apple is never limited by any measurement (being a hologram and all ) this is still nice eh! and thanks for remembering WENDY ! XD

i can confidently say there is no No Leon Butt in this piece of fan art here either: unfortunately, there's No Leon Pants in this work either.

thanks thanks! the work looks much better at close up! another Mikimoto here, featuring the girls from Macross up until Zero: (Sarah& Mao on top, Sharon Apple on bottom left, Minmay & Mylene up front, and Ishtar on the bottom right) hope we do see his renditions of the girls from Frontier. this artwork was the box art for the CMs line of Macross minifigurines.

watercolor is HM's favorite medium and he likes heavy wet-on-dry washes, but it is a tricky technique even for long time users of watercolor. i think when he got a hold of a digital equivalent he got more bold and intense - almost snowblindingly psychedelic - with his colors. natural watercolors tend to lose intensity with too much use of water, so a digital medium with an "undo, redo" option totally changes a traditional/natural medium artist's outlook on his medium (!) even i dont know what's gonna happen to me and my techniques if and when i get myself a wacom...

nothing much to see: a dog's eye view of some cars swerving away from the camera, after which the camera dollies up to see the bottom of the Amazing Rocketship Phoenix's rear thrusters then screen flashes white BAM! : the Gatchaman logo. it's just a VERY quick clip of The Amazing Rocketship Phoenix disturbing a multi layered highway with its presence.

i Dont have Yoshinol to offer right now, but here, DRINK UP! welcome to the jungle... Its a disguised blessing that Macross comes out only every 5 years because Mr. Kawamori decided to stay within the same universe each consecutive series expands on the story universe. It's enough time for each new generation of Macross fan to absorb and be absorbed by the ever expanding Macross universe - when the next series comes along he has matured enough to be nostalgic of the time when he was the newbie - he is wide eyed in anticipating the arrival of the new series and just all-too eager to share this excitement with the new batch of wide-eyed Macross fan, too. more often than not, a Macross fan doesnt look down on the newbie, in fact he welcomes him. AND Welcome to the jungle !!!
