I dunno if its just me, but I think the 1/60 VF-1S Roy head is fugly. I mean, come on, why is it so squashed? Did I get the Roy from DYRL where he got his head bashed in??? Anyways, I'm modding it a bit to make his face longer. I dont have much time now but I'll post pictures later attached to the body. Haha, I just had to do this for kicks...

The feet should look like this when opened. The thrusters arent split in half like the Yamato.

Did someone say my name? Haha, anyways, here ya go. Heres all the interior pictures of the feet that I can find. You can see that its an engine and the feet just goes around it. The Toynami posables are way off. One of the pictures is of the VF-0 but I figured it'll be similar.

Unfortunately, at the moment... not that we know of. There still some of us who still hope for Yamato to follow through with the YF-19FP. But from the looks of it, its nowhere to be seen. I'm kind of glad that I'm a model person too. News for Macross toys has been so depressing lately.

At the rate both of them are going. I wouldnt be surprise if both of them got banned. They havent been here long and already theyve both made a lot of enemies.

If youve ever seen a Hasegawa 19 kit, you'll know trying to cram the nosecone into the top part of the chest is pretty much near impossible. The only thing I can think of is to make the chest a bit thicker thus narrowing the gap. Besides that, I dont think theres much else I can do. As for the knees, the 19 does not have a knee guard. I'm actually considering to change the whole knee thing completely. I might have a solution but I'm waiting to recieve a certain joint for it first. I'll keep you guys updated. As for the gap that you're talking about Skypoet, I plan to add something like the wave's battroid. I just havent gotten around to it. Damn finals is sucking up all my time. Be careful there VF-19A and the YF-19 are externally identical. The VF-19A thing seems to come up on every VF-19 thread out there. I think we get the idea already.

God-like? I thought he was a God? Awww maaaan... time to take down my Kawamori shrine. I've always loved the VF-1 design. The "design" in terms of tranformation were used in Macross Zero with the VF-0 and imo it still looks like it fits right in today. No offense to the VF-1 but I think YF-19 has an equally timeless design. But then again I could just be a biased bastard since the YF-19 is also one of my favorite designs.

Capt already said that he would make an enlarged version for the toy people after this so it looks like the toy people have already benefited off this. I think its just a bit confusing with both toy and model ppl making suggestions and Capt doesnt know whos who. Maybe there should be a new thread made in the toy section to see who would be interested in a larger regult that way we can avoid the confusion.

Hehe... someone doesnt know about Fulcy's Armored Gerwalk. As much as I love JasonC's VT... I think the prize should go to Fulcy's AG... if he finishes it.

We'd still have to buy enough kits to make all the different versions. I'd prefer is they just did single-version kits for everything - wait, then I wouldn't have all those spare parts and decals to play with ... Heh, thats the point. Since we have to buy that same kit 50 times to make all the versions, they'll still make money off us. It'll just be nice knowing that the kit has the ability to make all the versions of the VF-1 in fighter mode. I wouldnt even care if they raise the price to their more expensive kits which is somewhere around 26, 28 dollars.
