I was thinking of doing that too. Since I learned a lot from making the first one, I can probably make a second one without much of a hitch. But I guess thats only worth doing if people are interested in recasting it. I can also tell you what joints i used, etc.

Like I said in my original post, I'm assuming it wouldnt be more than Rohby's 1/48 heads which are $10 each. But since I'm not a caster and dont know how much supplies costs, etc I cant say for sure. It shouldnt be more than 1/48 heads. That'll just be weird...

This is pretty much an interest check. I have not contact anyone about recasting it and I wont unless theres enuf interest. I have no clue how much it'll cost but I'm assuming it wont be anymore than Rohby's 1/48 heads. I'll find that out when I contact a caster. For those who are wondering what the head looks like compared to the original, heres a comparison picture. (More pictures posted in the thread above)

I stated that fighter mode as regular variant is realy tight it's the strike variant fighter mode that's floppy. It locks at the intake points, the problem is at the arm-leg locking points. The pegs on the forearm armor aren't flush tight with the holes in the legs, so when you shake the valk they detach from one another. Oops, sorry. My misunderstanding.

Before I go off and ask if my 19 is even recastable, is there even enuf interest for this kit? You gotta remember this was my first kitbash so I cant promise perfection. Obviously, I'll try but thats no guarentee.

I'm pretty sure I'll stick to the Bandai wings. It looks a lot more fitting compared to the lineart. The Hase wings are just too big imo. I might beef up the Bandai wings a bit to fit more of the lineart tho. I find the wings near the top (closer to the legs) a bit skinny. Theres still a lot of tweaks here and there I have to fix up. I'll still continue with updates on this thread. I really appreciate the constructive criticisms. Any more help from anyone is welcome. I want to make this 19 as nice as possible. Oh yeah, heres a comparison with the linart...

I've been asked a few times about recasting the VF-1S head as well as my 19. Yes... I'm actually surprised. Truthfully, before I go off asking recasters, is there actually enuf interest for either my VF-1S head or my 19 for it to be recasted? I really doubt anyone will be willing to go thru the trouble of recasting either one if only 2 gets sold. I just want to make sure theres an actual demand for these before I ask around.

I have no clue what the Studio Viper is but that looks great!!! Nice job Jesse!
