    VF Girls

I just found them on the net. Forgot where. I think some Japanese site where I couldnt read any of the text. Anyways, I found out that I had another one... Same thing as the other VF-1S tho... just a Minmay Guard this time.
  2. Ahhh! Its like a gun to my head to buy 10 more... Stop with the pictures!
  3. If youre going to use the Bandai kit as your base kit... unfortunately I'll have to pass on the interest of recasting it. Its just too chunky for my taste. Why use a SHE kit? I would be sad to see such a nice kit to be used to kitbashing. I would rather just recast the SHE kit and call it a day. That isnt a good idea either tho. You could still do it... and see how it comes up and see if people want it. If not, it'll still be nice on ur part to have a nice kitbash. Just like Battroid 19. I didnt really make it for it to be recasted but I offered to make another one if enuf ppl wanted it to be recasted. If not, oh well... I still get a YF-19 Battroid that I'm please with. What were you planning to do? If theres going to be any kitbashing involving a YF-19, I really think the Hasegawa model should still be the base kit. Just my 2 cents... Gluck with that tho. Definitely post it up. I would like to see it.
  4. I swore you saw the thread... but here ya go: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=13494 Mine isnt transformable. I was just saying that if you were to make a variable 19. You should use the Hasegawa kit as your base. I would take a more current picture but mine is being primed and sanded to death right now.
  5. If you want to use the Bandai kits for the conversion, the problem is that you need BOTH of them. You need the wings and front stablizer things from the VF-19 Kai. Then you need the head and gunpod from the VF-19S/F. You dont have to save a thousand dollars. Just a couple hundred and you can get the Studio HalfEye YF-19. I think the best way to approach it would be the way I made my YF-19 battroid. Kitbash a Hasegawa to make it transformable and use parts here and there from the Bandai kits such as arms, cod piece, joints, etc. I was considering it but... it looks friggin hard to make a transformable kit.
  6. Hahah... well that explains everything since his hair was shorter in Zero.
  7. SHE is definitely one of the my favorites... They found some good compromises... and on top of that, they designed a leg that folds away so it could look skinnier in figher mode but fatter in battroid mode. Genius idea imo. So there is a way to make a skinny figher and fat battroid. Its probably just difficult to make a toy that does this in 1/72 scale. Plus... that requires a lot of movable parts. If only Yamato would make it in 1/48...
  8. Its... actually more like 7 feet. 1 inch = 2.54 cm.
  9. Anyways, back to topic... My only gripe with the liquid stone is the battroid mode. The battroid mode just looks... wrong. I must say tho... the fighter mode is DAMN good looking. Its pretty much rivaling the Hasegawa model in terms of accuracy imo. So far my favorite transformable YF-19 is the kitbashed Hasegawa in Model Graphix.
  10. The similiarities are uncanny!
  11. Comparing the lineart to the yamato brings tears to my eyes...
  12. Hahah... no love for the Yamato.
  13. Wow, he grew like... a foot in a several of years from Zero to SDF.
  14. Since we all know it was based on the SHE kit... what I wanna know is how did it go from this to that!?!? UGH!!! The wings on the SHE is even folded over in that picture or else itll look even slimmer! Hehehe...
  15. Better then NEVER!!!! It seems when they get seriously good hype about a product, they speed up the production like no tomorrow. But if it is not well like by the public, then they just shelve the project. That doesnt seem to always be the case. Shouldnt the YF-19FP have gotten good hype?
  16. Anyways, I usually group my pictures (since I have so many) to let you guys know what I have. The originals are a bit bigger. Let me know which one you want bigger and I can post up a larger copy of it. The X-Ray one is actually a pretty decent size. I also have more in colors, cg, models, etc... Let me know if you want those too. Heres a bigger normal stance Regult...
  17. cleaned up versions, more pictures, and a xray pic... I also have the scout, if you guys want that, I can post that too...
  18. Wow, I hate that kit... You actually made it decent looking.
  19. Heres more pictures... http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/uploads/po...-1112762741.jpg
  20. About 20 cm or so... Unless you like the way it looks or want to heavily mod it, I cant say its a great kit. It was useful to bash away at for my Hase Battroid YF-19 tho. Pros: Easy to built (snaps together) No need to paint (stickers) Transforms? (sorta...???) Cons: Chunky Stickers suck (I like decals better) Transformation is iffy cuz of the removable parts Unknown wacky scale Reason why I got them was cuz I didnt even know anything else existed and they were cheap compared to a SHE YF-19.
  21. They look a bit... chunky. I had two for sale but I just sold them. Heres a picture of them raw... no stickers.
