690 yuan each is about $100 usd yes? so for both Max & Milia $200 usd is a smashing bargain even if the quality isn't quite as good.. And considering Arcadia has made no mention that they'll re-issue the M&M pair since they took over the line makes me feel a bit better about buying KO's.. Though im not buying for that reason but more so because im super curious to see how these KO's will turn out! And like I mentioned previously, if they not up to par then I'll use them for customizing.

I do like the idea of the head laser / antenna which tucks right up against the fuselage! looks great!

yes you are right. I just did a google translate and it specifies "does not include figure aircraft" either way, it would be good if they did make other Valkyrie's..

im not so sure that is an actual stress mark as I noticed mine seemed to have the very same light blue color in the very same spot during transformation and I was taking it very slow and careful.

I noticed a similar thing using the Google translator phone app on the Chinese Taobao site! Got a few giggles here n there..

very interesting indeed! I was thinking what would be next after the VF-1 and I guess this answers that! would seem to be some very busy people in China! LOL! I'll most likely buy one of em to customize.. I wouldn't mind a whole fleet of Valkyrie's in Russian colors!

Tried logging in to the engtaobao site with the same log in details to the Chinese site and it doesn't work. Also I tried doing a search for the KO VF-1 and it says it cannot find the product. So I assume the two sites are completely independent of each other perhaps?

I just used Google to translate the original site.. Depending on how well the KO's are made then I certainly hope there is an easy way to distinguish between them. Im sure you'll then have people trying to sell KO's as the genuine thing without original packaging for example.. Agreed.

My son enjoyed it which is what mattered as it was part of his birthday dinner & movie evening thing. Though the movie did give me a "can't wait for it to end so I can get the hell out of this bloody cinema" feeling.. To be honest it would have been better if the alien life form had physically taken over the bodies of the crew rather than being some blob running about the place..
