    The YF-19/21 were the first variable fighters to use the pin point barrier system, yes? There’s very little technical data on the VF-31’s , but I’m assuming the pin point system is standard now, since, as far as I can tell, all other variable fighters have been using this system since the YF-19/21 generation. As a side note, I never realized the pin point barrier technology allowed the VF-19 Excalibur to transform much more quickly than any other variable fighter of its time..except for the VF-22, I’m assuming.

    I’ve really enjoyed the last several episodes, you guys have done. Thanks Gwyn and everyone!! Really found myself engaged in the “what is anime” topic. It’s very interesting how opinions differ. I found myself agreeing and disagreeing all over the place ,as well.. Most notably, didn’t agree that the Animatrix isn’t anime, Lol. But that’s why we all have different opinions! I take it , hastily mentioned at the end, the consensus is that Afro (Samuel) Samurai is not Anime..

    Saw this last night. It was my girlfriends idea. I never really considered it , DC movies have been more than disappointing . But this was very well done. Great on the big screen and fully engaging.

    Love the VF-11. Still amongs my coveted VF’s! Im surprised they never bothered with a VF-11 Master file before. Its true , the latest Master dukes have not been very remarkable. Curious to see how this will turn out.

    In regards to Richard Bilrer, owner of SMS. He is also the founder of SMS? It is suspected he is one of the 23 Zentradi defectors during the first space war..is this because he has an image of Lynn Minmay in his fold quarts ring, or is there additional evidence in frontier ,or somewhere else to support this theory? Also, he must have a Zentradi name , no? Richard is an Earth name..

    Might be a bit much for a four year old. Best rewatch and decide before you scare her. I thought my 6 year old could handle .. Lol.

    Model looks awesome ! Arad scheme rocks! Turret idea is cool . A la VF-25 Tornadoe? OMG.. had to laugh at that.. I appreciate the idea very much, you trying to out do the mythical VF-24. seems as if you need a different air frame as your base , tho I do love what you’ve done with the 31..

But we can debate such concepts as good and evil and the PERCEPTION of such concepts all day.. maybe Kawamori is too busy on other projects..

    Just to catch up here..in the 80’s marvel did a 10 issue mini series called Secret Wars. A god -like being known as the “Beyonder” was pondering who would win , if the all out battle for good vs evil was fought..so.. He(**) gathered all of Earths hero’s and villains and put them on a planet with nothing but them(or so they thought) each side had a base of operations too. Anyway, THIS is where Spider-Man found the parasite that would later be venom. At first it gave him greater powers and he was now sporting the very cool looking (let’s face it, the 80’s needed it..!) all black suit with the white spider logo. Most know the rest of Spider-man’s ongoing adventures on Earth, after the Secret Wars. And how he eventually got rid of the parasite, as it had been slowly trying to control him and reveal its true nature.. So when the parasite later found Eddie and became Venom, the white spider logo remained imprinted..

    A local puppet maker (yes people still do that!) was able to work on some of the characters at Henson studios. They look great! There sure was a lot of name dropping , as far as the voice acting cast. I hope everyone mentioned is on. No surprise Mark Hamill is in the mix..he’s done so much over the years!

    Many believed they were doing “good” even though they were aware the prevailing culture they may have come from said otherwise.. no matter the outcome. Take the current situation here..um..never mind.. This is becoming the wandering thread, talk about anything until there’s something (Macross tv series..?) to talk about..

    You’d think for the price we paid for the. Chronos and it’s slim a availability, there wouldn’t be stress cracks like this. Can they EVER design a vak without these old and reoccurring issues ??

    True. I’m just pointing out the difference between Gundam and Macrosd. Both of which originated in Japan.

    It just wouldn’t be Gundam then! LOL! For some reason , the Japanese prefer the milk toast version of war in space.(or planet side..) the more serious installments just weren’t a hit out there.. Plus& Zero..
