  1. From what i heard. HG and Tatsunoko have signed an agreement to renew. Let that sink in. They haven't actually renewed the agreement. Presumably they will when the current license expires. The clock is still ticking..
  2. As someone who says Macross is in his heart.. wouldn't it be great if he did a Big West ,Hollywood Macross movie.? In your face HG Avoiding the "Robotech " issues and doing a Kawamori treatment of something very Macross but not necessarily SDFM.. Just wondering out loud.. Didn't know he was a big RT fan. But I guess that makes sense, considering his other interests. Though i doubt he could lever the backing to touch it.
  3. Who likes Macross? VFMF eye candy..
  4. Lol. That makes total sense! Thanks for the info Looking forward to hearing about it all soon..
  5. This is the VF-4 we wanted since back in the Yamato days..well , better late than never
  6. Wow. I just have to say. At a glance . This Wonder Fest could be happening decades ago. (it's probably always that way). Their still pumping out all the old favorites. Even Starship Troopers. It's nice to see the new VF-4 coming, lots of love for that bird! Love the Plamax Mirage figure, don't really care about the fuselage, lol. Also, what scale is that VF-14? 1/100? The Klang Aoshima is very cool , but a bit off putting with the little Klang face (it seems) and the BIG Klang boobs, lol. Also, must say, the Minmay in button shirt and slippers is just awkward! OMG.. i was happy to see some Gunhead love too. Many cool and exciting things to come. Thanks again BYW.. whats this?? I really want two of them!
  7. Sweet, been looking forward to these. Thanks
  8. More like Busty girl
  9. Too busy making customs
  10. Looks great
  11. It does..
  12. I don't see anything official on that. At this time. Must be insider speak.
  13. I don't know anything about Richard K. Morgan, himself. But I've read just about everything he's written and thoroughly enjoyed it. One of his latest book was Thin Air and takes place on Mars. I enjoyed. I also believe it's a set in the same world as Altered Carbon , but hundreds of years before. Could spoil it, but ya, you should re watch it
  14. That's my thinking too

    VF1S - 1/20

    Looks awesome ! Great job
  16. People that think that mustn't be online. I've seen all your examples just perusing online and utube for lego creations. These days lego is next level. As many know, even Kawamori San builds his prototypes from lego.
  17. Saw a commercial for it and was pleasantly surprised. Looking forward to checking it out.
  18. It's Shrodinger's Valkyrie until you do
  19. Lol. That's quite silly considering many of us were buying Takatoku VF's before Robotech was a thing. And the west coast was quite flooded with Macross merch at comic stores and swap meets..
  20. Hmm. Going for the scary angle on this one..we shall see.. The "What If" series could be interesting. Those we're always fun comics. Some of my favorites were "what if Wolverine killed the Hulk" , and "What if Loki had the hammer of Thor'..
  21. That was "then", right? The proof is in the pudding. And such arguments did not stick to the wall. We see the quality of works under the RT label. And the yarns being spun. And we see how Macross is flourishing. Weather or not some like the direction or focus of Macross. It's a very successful franchise. While RT quivers and $hits itself in the shadow of Macross. I watched RT when it premiered on tv in the 80's. And i loved it. I still don't begrudge RT, for what it WAS ( now it's just annoying) .. Later that summer I connected the dots and i knew why i loved it. Because it was MACROSS! I've collected comics since way before Macross. And this comic is bad. But, to each his own. Every monkey has his ( or her) own swing!
  22. RIP . Grew up watching you..
