No thanks. As much as it might be cool , I don't think anyone could do it justice. And there's about zero chance Kawamori san would touch it . Having said that, i am working on a Megaroad -01 diorama hangar scene.There's a little bit of a story there, but that's my own pet project. The closest we might get now to any old character is (supposedly) lady M.. Macross the first was working on being that. It was awesome ! But now it's indefinitely shelved. While it's by no means my favorite, I would still recommend watching Delta. There is, more than likely, going to be connections to the upcoming Delta Zettai Live!!!!!! -

$26.99 for the VF. $29.99 for the Orion decals. Plus shipping. I've seen the decals on Mandrake for about $15. But they're never around . I'm happy to pay the state side mark up. Especially in these uncertain times. Having them in hand is well worth it !

Mm, ya. That's going down the rabbit hole. I guess , ultimately, as alway it's personal aesthetics. I like the "real" look, that's why i prefer my kits heavily weathered. It also adds to my own story behind the model. A very intense upper atmosphere sortie, for example. When working on my 1/72 Armored VF. I kept looking at the shoulders, thinking it needs maneuvering thrusters there. I thought it would look more "realistic " and i love to customize.lol. But I didn't want it looking too "Gundam" either. The tough choices we must make

@derex3592 covered it pretty awesomely. I have two airbrushes, not fancy. I pretty much only use the gravity fed one for everything. What he said about cleaning is 110% true. I clean mine religiously and even then will have an occasional issue and need to re cleaned.. @sketchley also gave great advice. I have been collecting Macross models for years. Now that I'm ready to get serious, I don't spend much time searching online for that awesome Macross kit . I look in my closet

I think so . Iirc. He was being interviewed in Japanese (obviously) and they were using Macross gun pod effects to bleep it out. The speaker pod cast crew was being emulated, of a sort..

With western fans, mostly. The Japanese fan base doesn't seem to love M+. But they DO Love the YF-19.. It is in Macross 7. Episode 26 iirc.

GBP for the 1/60 Yamato would be epic. Though Bandai is (eventually) releasing the YF-21, i doubt we're gonna see them announce the VF-11. Let alone GBP for it..it's definitely on the wish list. The above image is the 1/72 resin model.
