I blame all the reviewers who gave the Renewals a buy recommendation! Because would've they rated them badly no one would want one! I could order the VF-25F and VF-25S without a problem because no one knew what to expect from the V2s. And with the VF-25G the madness begun! *crying manly tears* Just kidding guys! Of course I blame: *rolls a dice* HarmonyGold for this PoS!

Just re-watched the VF-19 Kai review from jenius and the landing gear doors make some really loud snap noises. O.k. now I officially frustrated enough with Bandai that I bought die S.H.Figuarts Origami Cyclone.... ...yeah I know I should not reward Bandai for this crap by buying more Bandai stuff but.... *bursts into tears* ...it's all good now come on NY bring the next batch for $300 each plus shipping.

Well the pre-order window at amiami opened at 4 pm in Japan but even if you were on-line at this point it was still a gamble to get one because the items were all gone in seconds while the server was lacking. I had several times a add to cart button who was not responding. Others hat the items in their cart but they where gone (i.e. sold to another customer) before they could checkout. Most other stores opened their pre-order slot in the following hour. So I assume the best time frame will be from 4 to 6 pm JST.

We have to wait and see what happens at the release date of the VF-171CF. I ordered the VF-25G on release date for the normal MSRP at amiami and I assume that was because not all pre-orders where shipped. On TFW someone said he hast 25 VF-171CF pre-ordered at amiami so with all the hype and people double or triple order just to be save (and thats getting worse with every new Bandai MacF release) I guess that there will be units available at release date. Of course we know more once the VF-171CF is released.

Hm I remember that in one of Veefs VF-19 reviews the doors of the landing gear make a snapping sound when you close them. Not sure if thats the same noise you describe.

$213 uh, that hurts. Hope the second batch from NY comes with slightly less of a mark-up.

I think he's referring to the general situation of ordering new Bandai MacF releases. The fist batch is already sold out at NY so I hope they can secure more stock in the following days. The huge pre-order window of the VF-171CF leaves me worried though.

I'm sure NY will have plenty of pre-order slots available. But I fear that they might not secure enough stock. The whole NY hype started with the VF-171 CF so we have to wait if the can fulfill all of those orders.

*yawn* what a pleasant surprise. Relax guys I just used to cg argument because it sometimes seen as the messiah for all things mecha. I'm sure if the script requires a gun-pod there will be a gun-pod no matter what. CG model follows script or something. Well it's 13:21 in Japan I just wait a few more minutes.

But but the cg-models??? I just pretend in my mind that it was the gun-pod of the VF-24F that hovered mysteriously into the hand of the RFV-25. Also I would rather have a Ghost drone than a gun-pod for Lucas Valkyrie.

Yeah I guess you are right. This brings up the question where is it stored? The default slot between the arms is blocked in Fighter-mode due to the radar-fin.

Maybe you're right but all Renewals came with some gimmick: Alto flying in EX-Gear, a Ranka pilot figure, awesome grappling hooks. I can't think what an appropriate gimmick for Luca would be besides a Ghost drone. Plus he does not have a gun-pod in the show if I'm not mistaken. But maybe the price tag comes from the added bulk through the rad-dome and -fin. I guess I have to find out by ordering one.

For this price tag I expect at least one Ghost drone. Maybe we get three and no gun pod. That would be really kind from Bandai.

I'm not sure that you are able to score one even if you see the pre-order happen (assuming that you order on-line). Bandai will release fewer units because Luca has not as much fans as Alto, Ozma or Michael have. The people who have the previous three Renewals want definitely one to complete the squad. The people who could not score one until know want to get one that have at least one toy of the Renewal mode. And all the scalpers who see how well they sell on the after-market want so secure as many units possible to make a profit. As a dirty Gaijin you can only lose. *loads the NY website* Oh and I welcome all forum members so continue the debate that ended after the pre-order window for the VF-171 CF.

Honestly, I don't know if a toy survives that long in the hands of a child. Or at least yellowing was the smallest problem. All these poor toys I mangled as a child... *sigh*

It came with a small Ranka figure! Also the Galia 4 packaging looks smaller then the VF-25 V1 boxes where the VF-171 Super Parts Box had the same size as the Valkyries iirc. So it would be easy to bundle the two in a gift set. So if the wings were not included they would have either a huge box with lots of free space in the inlay or a small box that they cannot bundle with the main toy. Of course that bundle will never happen.
