The easiest thing to do at the point would just to make an anointed long play where someone just records footage of all the story missions and character talking bits and then put subtitles on them through youtube or something.

http://www.animeboston.com/ Hey guys, I just got approved for a panel at Anime Boston 2013. It will be on Friday, May 24 at 3:45 PM in panel room 206. The panel is called "Ride of the Valkyries: A Guide to the mecha of Macross" and is basically a presentation of the information I've gathered together for the Veef Show thanks to guys like Richard and Renato. I'll be synthesizing information about the fictional Valkyries with their real life inspirations and origins to inform people about some Macross history and real world military aviation facts. Hope to see people there! Outside of helping David White (of Mechazone) do his panel last year, this is my first so I'll do my best!

I wonder if the design of the VF-0's gun pod was meant to be different than it is in order to reflect its ability to reload like the later Valkyrie guns. Even the Master File doesn't attempt to tackle its internals.

That's the little retracting fin in the head hatch on the back plate.

To be perfectly frank, it's getting pretty grating when members here post vague information about future merchandise. It's great that you know someone or know someone who knows someone who knows something and are just trying to keep the love alive. However, this kind of "maybe maybe not" schtick isn't getting us anywhere that idle speculation doesn't already. I want just the facts. I can read Cybergundam for toy teasers.

Yeah I feel bad that I haven't been able to finish it sooner. 505thairborne sent me a forearm with two broken hands I was able to piece together and get ready to 3d print via shapeways. I can't quite get the finer details and I keep hitting walls when trying to make them smooth but it's not hard to make them more rounded with a tiny bit of sanding.

I'm still working on number 3 there just for the record. I found a good solution to making the fingers more rounded and still printable through shapeways. I should be able to get an order in this month hopefully.

There's an interesting bit about the VF-17 in the Macross Design Works interview section with the big K. This translation was done by the New Macross Mechanical Archive guys a while back. Kawamori didn't like the F-117 at first lol
