    There's a 1/144th transformable resin kit. It even has a built in heatshield. Of course, most of the thing is held together by wires so that gives you can idea of the complexity.

    Ginrai actually sent me a cheesey DVD from "Showa video." It's just a bad VHS rip, but at least its in English. Although, half the cast is a bunch of misplaced American actors so much of the movie is already in English. Vic Morrow really steals the show.

    Come on now Drifand, to be fair, the Proto-Garland never pulled its Laser Orb gun out of nowhere like the Garland did. It just stole them from passing Military Garlands.

    There's a torrent for all of Dorvack in raw Japanese. It's not a terrible complex show so it's not hard to follow. It gets some props for having Toru Furuya voicing the main guy. I can't get enough of Amuro Ray's sexy voice.

    My problem with the TV uniforms and pilot suits is that during this time Mikimoto was just copying the 0079 era of Gundam since he was such a big fan. The uniforms are nearly identical to the Gundam uniforms with the exception that the Macross guys wear pants.

    Clearly every Battroid must be ready to defend the Frontier, just like in Macross 7 how they had the civilians bring their old Battroids for civil defense.

    I tried my hand at putting the two page spread together. Notice that the VF-1J is totally done exactly like the Revoltech.
