  1. Thats freakin' sweet. No idea how I missed it, I will totally be downloading and making this.
  2. Games Workshop Citadel paints. Self-levelling, adhere to anything. Yellow and Red should hook you up A-OK. Find a wargaming/model shop.
  3. I'm using Mac the Ripper to extract the video. I'll see if I can get it to do what you say. I'll report back soon. Or try downloading it once my 8 zillion other downloads finish.
  4. Aahh thanks you guys. I didn't want to download others because I don't own those and I'm working on downloading a crapload of unlicensed stuff right now (Bionic Six, Robotix etc). I'll give it a shot and let ya know.
  5. I think it looks fun. I sold off my Valk collection, so this and some Regults to blow the crap out of will be a lot of fun. These are toys, dudes. I don't want to play with a Valk and then be like "Wait, I gotta put away the Gerwalk antenna and find the swappable parts for where the legs go when I put it into Valkyrie mode". I've owned a lot of Valks, and my fave is still the Chunky Monkey. I want Valks I can PLAY with.
  6. Hey all, Just got a Mac Mini and loaded it with Plex for use with the plasma in the living room. Loaded on a bunch of stuff, and went to rip my old Macross TV series DVDs. Plan was to use individual chapters (episodes) as episodes in Plex. I rip them, and lo and behold, there's weird chapter selection, because the five files that make up four episodes are all spliced in weird places, not at beginning and end of each episode. Long and short is, any advice on how to load Macross onto my Mac Mini (besides going through DVD menus from ripped DVD which I'm doing now?) And for the record, yes, I do own the DVD's. Number 243 (?) on the initial sign up list way back in the day.
  7. I used to remember my number on the list...I think I was in the first 100 to sign up. Remember this: those of us who paid $250 each for the sets actually financed the thing happening. If it wasn't for us taking the bigger financial cost, it wouldn't have made it here. I remember signing up at $350, then the price dropping as more and more people signed on. At least I think it was that much, it was 10 years ago.
  8. Curse your beard growing abilities! BTW, this uniform was mentioned earlier in the thread (muuuuch earlier). I'm offering it for sale: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=110299125954 It's gone one auction with no bids, so bid once and win it. Then geek out hardcore. (Counts as cosplay, cause I'm the one wearing it LOL)
  9. If they're as asian as I'm native american, then, no, no they can't grow the beard. LOL
  10. It was whichever aired the day of my post. I posted while it was playing...
  11. Sniff...memories! Like the corners of my mind... Yeah, I sold my PM last year...still had the postcard bound in. Man I feel so damn old. I remember being pumped when the Mikimoto book came in that my buddy bought...
  12. The meaning is that, from time to time, I have absolutely nothing to do. My posts make more sense in the light of this
  13. Can't put my finger on it...a BGM that was piano based...maybe one of the Minmei songs? Arrgh its killing me.
  14. I'd never seen Densha Otoko, but Daicon turned me on to ELO in a big way. I have all their albums! Even entered the lottery for the fan club for the VH1 Storytellers concert when I was college. Didn't make it, though.
  15. Ahhh! Heresy! When were you guys born anyhow? (skeptical eye) LOL
