  1. No, man. Rollerblading is so 90's...
  2. That really bums me out because, honestly, this show is much, MUCH, better that almost anything else EVER put on TV. At least Sci-Fi is showing enough respect for it to let them end it out with a full season. What I don't get is that, sure, this show doesn't get a lot of viewers, but it's DVDs sell like hotcakes. The rankings on Amazon have slipped a bit (Everything is around the 500 ranking except for the miniseries, which is out near 2000), but over Christmas all of the DVD sets fluctuated within the top 100, usually near the top 50. That's gotta bring in a lot of money!
  3. Genndy's character designs work well for his 2d animation style, but they DO NOT work for 3d cgi. Much of that was just too creepy looking.
  4. I was trying to come up with something that describes it, but I think you've nailed it right on the head. Another word which comes to mind is "wicked."
  5. Don't forget Sentinel!!!
  6. I was about 2 q/1 when TStar Wars came out. My dad had been transferred to Chicago, and had been living there for about 6 months trying to find a house while my mom, sisters and I stayed in New Jersey to sell our old place. Once we all moved out, my dad was like "There's this movie that WE HAVE to take the kids to see!" I don't remember it, but apparently I read the opening crawl, which shocked my parents because they didn't know I could read.
  7. To be honest, the Zeong always reminded me more of one of the dolls from Grey than something from Gundam. It just doesn't fit (although, as has been stated before, Gundam has had some wonky mecha).
  8. Ahhhh... Rockford. Home of Cheap Trick, you know. That's where I saw my first airshow, Thunderbirds were flying. Rockford is typically a surprisingly good airshow.
  9. I know what Visual Boy is, I've just never heard of it running games from other systems.
  10. Umm... pardon me for being obtuse, but how does Visual Boy run this?
  11. That looks better than the Toynami MPC.
  12. I think the main problem most Macross fans have with fan-made projects is that they tend to blow. Make a good story, revise and edit your dialogue so it isn't lame, and don't make mistakes with the mecha or flight suits, and you should be A-OK. I've been fiddling with an idea for a while, but school's been knocking my ass so much that I haven't drawn anything worthwhile in a long time.
  13. First Patlabor, now Macross. Wowza.
  14. County coroner is now stating that the pilot is dead, no other known fatalities (thank goodness for that). From preliminary reports, it looks like the pilot was either a) Heading to back to the airfield, or B) was trying to find a safe place to lay down his bird away from population. Regretfully, it seems he crashed into a populated neighborhood, but that everyone is A-Ok. Except for the pilot, of course. Bless his soul.
  15. Ummm... I think thy're all actually ripped. No CGI enhancements to their physical bodies. JSYK.
  16. Vasteel for the TG-16 CD Drive is, to this day, one of the best mecha strategy games ever. My friend imported it from Japan when it came out and we had to figure out what all the stats for the mecha were (since they were in Japanese except for the numbers). The best part was the it was a hex-based strategy game, but when it came to fighting, it was mano y mano where you duked it out. The mecha designs are awesoem, too.
  17. Metal Marines for the SNES was pretty cool. Sometimes it's really easy, but some missions are kind of hard.
  18. I remember Jacko was in it. His character's name was Jetto. Go figure. Oi!
  19. Ummm... I may be a computing idiot, but will this mod work with my Mac version of HW2?
  20. I'm so proud of Toynami for being such a professional organization. AKA- We don't care very much about our consumers. Please do our news dissemination for us. big F- Bear in mind that Hasbro will stay in business with or without your support. Toynami, on the other hand, is a small company serving a specialized fanbase. Prudence would suggest that they keep that fanbase well-informed of developments.
  21. Hooray!!! The two hasty add-ons are dead!!!
  22. My wife thought it was great. She is insane, though. [attachmentid=41487]
  23. Ummm... did no one else but me notice that Starbuck's voice was crystal clear and lacking the "radio distortion" normally heard when the pilots have their helmets on? They even had Lee speak so that there would be a clear difference between their two voices.
  24. Bacteria itself is a big factor in decomposition. So if your terra-formed planet does include bacteria as you stated earlier, chances are he will decompose.
