  1. Im the sort that lurks in the dark and jumps into a thread and go hysterical whenever I see an unconfirmed pic of a new toy! ruskii, pass me the tranquilizer now please... I really need some sleep now.
  2. picture by Graham on page 5 if anyone missed it! (me of course) PS : from Graham's larger scans, it seems to me that the air break is not there. prolly they take that off because its too fragile for such a small scale... aha...I see a candidate for more improvement...outward landing gear...I mean we can push em out sideways just like the YF-19
  3. Grahammmm...where are the scansss? Im really feeling dizzy with this wait...maybe I should catch a nap as it's 6 am now...brr...
  4. would these have rotate-able pilot seat as the VF-0S?....if that's the case, then it would be awesome....I hope the pilot will be made out of the same material as the Roy VF-0S...that is, with much more finer details than the 1/48 pilots. I hope they are also aware of the BP-8 problems in the 1/48s and redesigned the backpack hinge so that it would be sturdier in this smaller scale. I hope they tampoo print all the markings on the toy (I doubt it) and last but not least, I hope the box is significantly smaller! (shipping is killing us!)
  5. psst, give him a tranquilzer shot instead
  6. I bet its gonna be perfect transformation. I cant see why it wouldnt since it serves no purpose for them to remake the 1/60 line if there's no improvements to attract us, the 1/48 line owners...and it should be cheap too!
  7. whooottt? man...since when theyre gonna downscale the VF-1??... Im a bit sick of the Vf-1 already and its bigger than the 1/60 versions.....but, the other valks are in 1/60 scale...but...well, argghh...! I hate u yamato if you release the 1/60 version! j/k. well, I guess guys over there at Yamato well aware of our completist behaviours...
  8. looks kinda shiny to me...in the preview pictures it seems to me that the black was more of a matt-black than shiny-black...is that because of the lighting?
  9. funny that of all people, the villain is actually the vice pres
  10. wow. toynami will produce this? But still, meh...I'm not sold now, if only Yamato would snatch the license off from the hands of the evil toynami, I may give it a chance.
  11. twin moons, not good. got the point. thanks for the heads up.
  12. shipping's not cool though...
  13. well, we all know its not gonna be either. The company that's gonna produce more macross products is... toynami yeah...that's what I heard from a friend of my friend...
  14. nep. none of my 1/48s has any stress marks on the BP8 part. Guess the one who transforms it is at fault.
  15. Im guessing the box will have the same stripe style ala the YF-19 box... but I hope they'll pick more relevant/matching colors (green on the YF-19 just dont fit in)
  16. booster backpack? and yeah, I forgot to pull the 'sleeve' down
  17. joke machine multiples.... I bit the JM bug...
  18. enough with all these box pictures....we want the real thang....do other websites have pictures of the toy?...opened...?
  19. what kind of red is that?...its seems like it has a darker shade of red than Chowser's red...
  20. yeah! this calls for pitch forks and torches...now where'd I put those... Transform! Transform! Transform!....
  21. Well, there are 2 versions of it as far as I know. The first one was manufactured by Bandai aka the original Joke machine and the other by Matchbox for the US market. Both were produced at about the same time but the ones with the Japanese boxes are more rare than the Matchbox version nowadays. Bandai released the DYRL version 1S Roy, 1A Max & Hikaru and TV version 1J Max & Miriya while Matchbox only released the 1S Roy, 1J Max & 1J Miriya (since those are the ones that appeared in the TV series shown in the US under the 'Robotech' label).
  22. Im imagining kensei or godzilla will have like 9-10 SV-51's lined up in that submarine-storage pose...that would be awesome...
  23. holy fak ...erghh...must re..sist.....have to use that money..for text book...Nooo!
  24. Ohh...now that looks awesome. I might get a couple of those then. Thanks for pointing that up Mr March!
  25. what turns me off with these figures is the fact that from the pictures shown up until now, the lower body seems to be slightly angled forward. it doesnt seem to be able to move back to a normal body pose from the pictures Ive seen...
