  1. I prefer Yamada's sister though. :3
  2. Is the "Full Burst Mode" supposed to be released in very small quantities? Cuz i want that one. I don't like the "gold" that comes with the normal version. I prefer it plated with Blings blings.
  3. This episode was pretty horrid. I can't imagine why they went with the "Yamada-twin" with Jinkama-san arc. That was over the top. The evil businessman dude, i think is the same actor as one of the 2chan forumers who goes around the world with an annoying voice, but can't find a source that proves/disproves this.
  4. Beh...this sudden ressurection of the topic made me thought this was yamato's "transforming mecha from 80's anime" Gave me a shock.
  5. I think the main cause of it is the peg. One of the pegs is misaligned, and its quite clear if you take off the gunpod and look at the pegs directly. The fix of making the gunpod thicker or removing the shield etc are just modifications to re-align the gunpod despite misaligned pegs.

    1/60 YF19 rant

Though i agree u with all other points, i never had wobbly canard wings or a problem with the cockpit. The only problem with the cockpit is that you'll have to push the front part of the canopy down to open the canopy. And with the canard wings, did you push it in to lock it into place?
  7. U got pictures to prove this claim? Yeah well mine wasn't bloody till it dripped on the yamato...but it still hurts. Beware, your YF-19 might have a life of its own tonight.
  8. That's why i hate using knives to pry open toys. Its kinda dangerous....i shall think of getting gloves or something. My YF-19 drew blood from me as well. While trying to tighten the wing roots the legs in fighter mode, my thumb kinda slipped and the wing root jammed into the flesh between my thumb and finger nail. Ouch....... >_<
  9. Aww man....and i was hoping they'd re-venture into the realm of Escaflowne. The last Escaflowne toy was fugly. Bismark/Ramrod would be a good/interesting choice.
  10. The Highwayman. I believe it also carried a helicopter in it. I only remember it was all black but dun remember much about the show.
  11. Interesting that it didn't air but someone still knew of its existence and made a website for it. And there are actually vehicles and actors.
  12. I disagree. Very good example....Evangelion. Just how many Evangelion toys have you seen out there? They're picked up by everybody from Bandai, Sega, Kaiyodo, Max Factory etc. If we're talking about the mechs alone, Bandai, and Kaiyodo are at the forefront. Easier to see this are the various "PVC Girls" figures flooding the market. Lately there seems to be alot of figures for Fate/Stay Night from different companies. So i dun really understand this "one person only can hold the license to produce toys" thing. Is this just something exclusive to Macross toys? Heck look at Megazone too. Right now, Yamato, Max Factory and Artelier Sai are producing the Garlands. Bandai, cause they have the resources, technical know how, man power, and i'd daresay excellent QC. If they ever incorporated macross toys in their Chogokin (not necessarily SOC) series, I'm sure it'll blow your socks off. M7 toys...as Graham put it, was due to their negligence of their license. Who knows...maybe at that time selling Zeta model kits were more lucrative. But i'm sure if they put their hearts to it, They'd give Yamato a good run for their money. I don't wanna be a Yamato dog buying from them just cause i like valks and they are the only ones producing it, despite bad QC.
  13. Flashback 2012 isn't 80s anymore is it? *Strikes VF-4 from list*
  14. Thanks for the photos. They look nice, but too bad they don't transform.
  15. Time to bug Bandai about it. Frankly, i'd like to see bandai compete with Yamato in the macross market. Yamato's "monopoly" doesn't bode well to us valkaholics, what with all these QC problems and cheap plastics being used. Abit of healthy competition wouldn't hurt anyone IMHO.
  16. My thoughts exactly....what is a launch bar? EDIT: stupid browser didn't refresh. NVM
  17. Maybe its a......perfect change Zeta Gundam!
  18. The SV-51 does look menacingly bigger than the VF-0 in those screencaps eh? On the subject of "stability" of the SV-51, I hope that Yamato could make the thighs and and hips REALLY tight, so at least it can support itself in neutral stance. Example, the hip joints should not be the usual ball joint that so far the 1/48 VF-1, 1/60 VF-0 and YF-19 all have. Replace that with a ratchet joint since the legs are long and lanky which migh have issues with keeping it on an intended angle. I have problems with the YF-19 when doing a "mid air stance" due to the hips which can support the weight of the leg. Also the toy overall should be quite light.....sorry to the die cast fans, but this toy is gonna be hard to pull off if its heavy. I imagine the upper torso is gonna be very light with most of the center of gravity focused on the legs and lower torso, pretty much like the YF-19. In other words, the legs and lower torso have to be "less hollow" than the top.
  19. Not anytime soon that's for sure. Besides the VF-2SS transformation is almost similar to the VF-1. I want a VF-4 before a VF-2SS
  20. Blackout looks kinda nice, but i wonder if there will be a "detailed up" version of this. Anyone thinks that he is named Blackout because he has some kinda EMP shockwave ability , as seen on the trailer?
  21. Those are from the faxes that toy shops get from manufacturers hence the bad quality. They'll put better pics when official pics from manufacturer are out.
  22. Can't wait for CAD drawings soon.....
