I don't really mind the moderation if it was stated beforehand what is questionable and what is not. I understand mod's views on their sensitivity of the issue but I do feel some people make comments about "lolikon" and "paedophilia" and "explicitness" are bordering on finger pointing. Another example was the Dynamite 7 thread where again somebody claimed that Macross 7 Dynamite was pandering on the paedophiles due to a bath scene. That really made me think of our moral perceptions in this forum where small innocent things get construed into something more sinister and disturbing than it actually is. It may not be 100% "churchmouse" now. But it sure as hell is getting there. But i'm no mod, and i'm no sponsor, so my comments hold no water. I like posting in this forum as one of the more mature ones (some ppl disagree though... ) out there. Anyway i hope everyone understands that I agree said picture posted was kind of not PC, but just saying it doesn't warrant a total thread closure. It feels abit excessive but as Jsarclight said they were working out something....so shrug. I'm not campaigning for a ADULTS ONLY or VIP only forum.

I think most of the songs on the roll there were pretty darn blatant, even to the point of vocals. The Bad Dog No Biscuits one came to mind where the vocalist recites some country names. (or was it Mushroom Samba) Similar chord progressions and arrangements have been around for sometime. But those music in the vid seemed like a direct copy-pasta. And like i mentioned above, even to the point of vocals! I thought that Yoko Kanno composed all those music herself but it doesn't seem to be the case so i dunno why everyone says "this is ok and normal" but to me it feels like a big slap in the face. Or maybe i'm just being melodramatic. I'm not sure how many % of her work....but these are some high profile works like Bebop, Wolf's Rain and GITS SAC. I'd say for an anime OST to even make it to the Oricon charts is an achievement already. Being #44 on the oricon doesn't mean your sales are pathetic since oricon doesn't record sales from the usual otaku dens but from major music retail outlets only.

Don't have to be sarcastic. You can treat Kawamori's offhand statements as sacred text all you want, including the ones regarding to Ranka's hair. I've shown the transformation mechanisms that make the VF-25 similar to the SV-51 and that's where i'm coming from. I don't think i'm the lone person who thinks so too.
