I consider the "1st generation macross class" to be retcon. Though not explicitly mentioned to exist, there were other parts of the universe that don't jive with this sudden introduction. Like the SDF warships being discontinued to make way for the Megaroads for colonisation, the needless gimmick for transformation of the 1GMC etc.

To be fair Mac7 has alot of stuff not animated and Battle 7 may have beam cannons and just not use them, just like the SDF-1. Unless you're taking from some official specs of course. What gives u guys the idea that Battle 7 is less powerful than the SDF-1? I remember it to have a wide firing arc just like the SDF-1 and assuming Macross 13 is the same class, it looks like it can pwn a fleet by itself too. Like a terran siege tank in space?

Watched the Lunar sub and can't help but notice glaring mistakes like "Dimension Eater" translated as "Remation Eater" despite it showing on Grace's HUD as Dimension Eater even if it doesn't sound so clear in Japanese Engrish. Also Alto referring to Brera's valk as "That bird".

After watching the subs, i have a theory that Grace is trying to incite a war amongst the human/zents and the Vajra. The Vajra may probably under normal circumstances won't attack humans. Does the green thing or the crab-thing look like it could hurt humans? The Dimension Eater was to aggro the vajra and at the same time wipe out the 33rd so both the vajra and humans will think the other side was responsible. With war, LAI profits? i dunnno.

Hhahah...nice design for VF-30. Transforms from Vic Viper to valkyrie. i just realised that VF-25's cockpit canopy is purely digital and not conventional, if you see it in ep 13 when the valk loses its power. Strange though that they would allow people outside the cockpit to be able to peer into the cockpit making it easier for headshots by Brera. Doesn't serve any purpose than for cool i guess.

Neither does the one holding the knife. I'm sure it'll be fine i the final sculpt. I wouldn't be too woried about the hands at this point, seeing how the sculpt is less than proportionate. The shoulders, antennae, and torso section is all wrong.
