I haven't read the comic either---just summaries. Anyways, as to why a mining ship crew (purely IMHO): 1. Rogue/disgruntled military officer is over-done. An 'everyman' is more relatable and atypical. 2. Military ships wouldn't have giant hanging mine-drills, for the orbital-skydiving sequence, fist-fight-on-the-platform sequence, and drilling-out-the-core sequence.

It's a heavily upgraded mining vessel, with Borg and advanced prototype Romulan weaponry. (or so I hear from the prequel comics) If you took a modern day oil tanker, gave it nuke-tipped Tomahawks and Harpoons and a prototype rail gun, and sent it back to WWI---I bet it'd win.

The new Clone Wars TV series would add about a zillion new possibilities for a Battle Front game. I'd hope for that.

At the end of the movie, there was no heat/pressure for the red matter drops there---they just "spilled out of a hole in the hull" and their sheer interaction with each other caused a full-on black hole.

Heads are definitely better on both, but still a bit too long/tall I think--maybe the nose specifically? There's a section of Milia's hair that I think is off---can't describe so I'll just point it out. Almost looks kind of like a bowl-cut there. Milia's waist seems slightly too barrel-shaped. I would taper it in more RIGHT above the belt. Also, I would thicken the lower part of the thigh, right above the knee---too cylindrical in that area---should be more conical. Finally--smaller ankles. If you're really going for "matching the anime" instead of "more realistic" I think the ankles should be smaller. Also, there should be more folds/wrinkles in the boot at the ankle---the fabric is really bunched up there according to the most "official" drawing I have of Milia in this outfit. Also I would make the foot part of the boot shaped more like a woman's shoe---you've got a more "practical" design--basically needs to be smaller and more pointed. More "dainty".

All of the V2 VF-1s have that problem.

Ok, I'll try to survive the crowds on Black Friday and see what I can find. (I normally make it a point NOT to shop on Black Friday, in deference to all the people I know that work retail---I'm one less person they have to deal with, and one less car on the road)

Well the thing is, I find Luminara almost everywere--and that's 2 waves newer according to Rebelscum, so I worry that everywhere has already "gone through" the Ahsoka wave and will only be restocking with newer figs.

Zartan looks good, but I still want a readily-available classic Dusty for my "desert" Joes first. Also want a Cover Girl that doesn't totally suck. There's still a lot of "missing from 25th" things I want rather than more RoC/Resolute rehashes of the same basic dozen characters.

I only just now realized that I actually need the spacesuit Ahsoka fig---but I haven't found one in the 48 hours I've been looking---but I know I saw it recently enough that there SHOULD still be some out there among the many Admiral Pegwarmers. Is that Ahsoka still readily available? I don't really want to drive to the next town on Black Friday to figure hunt at various super-crowded stores for nothing. I don't want to order one and "risk random bad QC", as that fig has pretty complex paint apps on the face, and I really want a nicely-painted one.

Yes, many outfits in M7 suck, especially Milia's mayoral one.

Milia in a flightsuit in M7 looks better than Milia in a flightsuit in SDF:M though. (seriously, Macross should put as many chicks as possible in flightsuits--they always look good---even Sheryl did it a few times)

They should have invited Grace to the pizza party. Excellent place to use her wrist-tentacle-things.

I suspect the fact that everyone knew it was going to be a re-hash with recycled footage dampened the numbers a bit.

That makes me ask: 1. How old are the "old farts" here? (since most of the long-term members here are all roughly the same age) 2. How old are you?

While Pollyscale is my fave paint, I don't like any of their clears.

It's kinda like a Deathscythe Hell Custom, but more ludicrously caped. And white.
