And it's got a lot more animation/screen time than the VF-4, for sure.

Has he been practicing stake-impaling and axe-throwing too?

I think the arm-attachment part was inspired by how it was done with Bruticus in the FoC trailer------which is a good thing, because it was awesome.- 9275 replies

It's an inherent issue with the mold, that seems to have been fixed for the US release.- 17146 replies

Meh, Grace/Mylene would be so much better...

You mean besides the new movie currently filming?

Has anyone mentioned that the little red hinge in the chest armor is painted, and not molded that color? You could probably just plunk it in some rubbing alcohol and the paint'd peel off, if you want it grey. (for screen accuracy, it should really be mostly grey with "fold quartz magenta" in the middle)

Yup, those are definitely Sidewinder-X's. -
I think most every model-builder with any sci-fi interest has done a "fiber-optic starship" or two. PG Unicorn would have to be easier than that.

No they don't. They have one or two LED's in the head and maybe chest. Gundams have had that for years. And that's not what I (or most others I suspect) expect from a PG Unicorn. Those are light-up heads, not light-up armor. I pretty much want every single red bit to glow. Might need massive amounts of lightpiping and fiberoptics, or nano-SMD LEDs all throughout to make it happen. Not just the torso, but the arms and legs, right to the tips. Anything less isn't worth it---otherwise you could just throw a big LED in the middle of the HG kit (like many have).

That's what I read. But still---I want it! Clear parts don't do it, I want an internally-illuminated mode Unicorn. (preferably transformable, but I fear transforming and internal wiring/lighting just don't go together)

Kadena F-15's in HD. If you want to see what a real fight would be like (vs Hollywood/Ace Combat spitting-range) watch this. (and in full-screen) -

Since Shadow Broker is the greatest DLC ever, and better than many "regular" storylines in ME, it can't possibly compare. I too am curious. I don't expect mind-blowing awesomeness like LotSB, but if it's "good" I'm interested. Anything in it for EDI? I'd love more EDI. (and on that note---how come no play arts Liara or EDI?)

A little bit of everything, nice mix. Action bases, Medicom Asuka, Bandai valk kits...
-
And people mocked me for complaining about Ozma being painted with not-matching shades of grey instead of being molded in color like the first one...
-
Or maybe "very very pale" grey. (that'd be a bit more realistic, though I'll admit it probably wouldn't look as good). (a lot of "white" missiles nowadays are actually very light grey---but back in the 70's/80's most were a pure white) Hey---they could just use "DYRL VF-1" plastic for the missiles---that'd be about right. And we know Yamato knows how to make that color.

If they're that much in Tokyo itself, hopefully someone at Bandai has noticed (and that's it's not "just webshops that ship overseas" that can't get any)

Yes, that stuff. I like the character so much (my all-time fave) that I abhor what they did. The figure just has a zillion little things I don't like that adds up to "don't want it". Nothing is huge, but it seems every chance they had to do wrong, they did, when it would have been so easy to do it right.- 17146 replies

Yup, looks like crap. Every tampo-print they put on is just plain stupid. Pass, will wait for Takara's non-Jersey-Shore version. (assuming Takara goes for toy-accurate and not anime-accurate colors again) (also, way too many "graphite" plastic bits instead of pure black) (unless someone finds a way to remove the stupid tailfin markings while leaving the rest of the tailfin paint intact, which is unlikely given how it's printed and painted, and they are eventually clearanced due to poor sales) My all-time fave character, and it really irks me that someone at Hasbro thought these markings would be "cool". Had they simply *not* spent the time and effort to implement these markings, it'd have been so much better.- 17146 replies

I've always dreamed of owning a Countach (or now, Aventador), driving it on the highway during summer and getting it covered with bugs, and then parking it in a small, old, rural Wal-Mart's parking lot and taking pics. -

To me that defeats the point of RG models-----pre-"two-toned for realism" parts.

Only a single shade of blue and red? While I feel the RG RX-78-2 has way too much contrast between the two shades of blue, I think Zeta would look awesome with a "middle" and "darker" shade of blue.
