  1. Well, I got in, not nearly as cheap as MSRP, but 220$ shipped Speedy is better than 450-500$
  2. Have to say, I've been playing with my P all day, looks like the older folks were wrong, it's alot of fun! but really, wish I hadn't waited so long to pull the trigger... ok I'm done.... No really, the VF-19P is fun as crap!
  3. I have several models of Tomcats, in all variations, and that looks nothing like a Tomcat in any way.
  4. Just got my 19P in, that was fast! ordered from HLJ on Thursday, got it today, holy balls FedEx is on speed! Haven't had a chance to look, but kinda don't need too, thatnks to all your guys great pictures. Now just waiting on HKC to ship my 19S, I ordered that before CNY,so hopefully it ships soon, now that it's over.
  5. Nice, in for one in each scale when available.
  6. I'm just going off my own personal collecting Habits, I have displays for the cheap hasbro American figures, and I have a display full of expensive designer, and Japanese toys. the "Elite" call is just another jelly word... Kids don't know Macross, they certainly won't remember it, and If you have a kid and want to share, buy a easy to find 1/55 reissue. The point is, Elite means nothing, there's guys with 1000's of Transformers contained in an entire room. Then there are guys with 4 display cases full of maybe 10 Valks, is one more elite? that doesn't even compute. Some people are hoarders, they buy to collect and show off, other people are Hobbyist, and have a general Love for their group of items and are loyal to the end ( i would ground kicker into here, based on his wonderful displays) then there are people like me, Entusiasts, we don't spend a lot, but we pick and choose, because we want a piece, but also want pieces of other. IMO there are only four groups of people in the toy world Childhood Hoarder. Collector. Hobbyist. Enthusiast. Elitism can't trully exist in toys, as the buyers, but by the sellers. Bandai is an elitist company in terms of toys. No single toy buyer can determine the availability to others.
  7. Elitist is the wrong word, its quality over quantity if your in this hobby, you can buy roughly 15-20 Transformers from Hasbro for the Price of a single Valk from Yamato or Bandai. However the build quality, complexity, detail, and craftsmanship of the one far outweighs the Transformers. So, if you want an entire room filled with cheap action figures, go for it. If you want a few display cases in your room, with expensive action figures then do it. Your either a connoisseur or a hoarder. A collector or a Hobbyist, Elitist, that just don't make sense.
  8. I like the P over the S, mainly just due to the head design. I like the Helmeted look on the P. The S is almost too blue, but being a sucker for aviation, I dig the Blue Angels look.
  9. I don't mind paying high prices for perfect transformation masterpieces. I think the repaints scare away casual fans, as every line has a large usage of repaints In order to profit on a mold, while I give a lot of credit to Yamato for Interesting repaints( ie P,S), casual fans don't see the connections, and simply want Throw back repaint a to the OG crew. Look at the VF-4G, had it been the FB version, with the Roy looking paint scheme, it probably would have sold out quicker Instead of the VFX scheme. Coincidentally, I heard that Yamato carries a high profit margin for thier retailers. So when they go on sale, they still make money. No doubt the new Arcadia will capitalize on the Yamato molds, And re-release popular molds in new schemes. The VF-4 will be back, and more then likely any items already developed will Get used. I get the feeling this is more of a evolution of a company, then a reset. Hopefully we can get some confirmation soon.
  10. Here's hoping they refocus on on new Molds, I'd like a VF-9, VF-0D, and VT-1 please. If making a new VF-19 V3, give me a Skull Squadron paint-up. also, any color of VF-4, with Hard Points. Also how about some other veritechs.. VA-3 invader http://www.macross2.net/m3/macrossplus/va-3.htm VC-079 Civ Valk http://www.macross2.net/m3/macross2/vc-079-valkyrie.htm Vampire http://www.macross2.net/m3/macrossga/vf-14-m3.htm Cutlass http://www.macross2.net/m3/macrossga/vf-9.htm Variable Glaug http://www.macross2.net/m3/macrossga/vglaug.htm Schneegans http://www.macross2.net/m3/macrossga/sw-xaii-schneegans.htm thats a start...
  11. Any American made Macross/Robotech movie would be the death nail for this franchise, hopefully Harmony Gold, in this one instance keep their Iron Fist firmly planted. Better off being written and directed by a Japanese loyalist. last thing I want to see is Justin Beiber as Rick, drooling over Taylor Swift as Minmay. I just threw up in my mouth a little... Also the WB Macross title has been in pre-production for 8 years, that means it's dead. pre-production at the latest, LATEST, is 1 year. Deaded.
  12. Either way, the news forced my hand, I bought a VF-19P, and VF-19S. my wallet feels like Yamato is history lol.
  13. It was, then came the Scifi Yamato. Sounds like a simple restructuring. I'm sure we will learn more soon enough. No way they are done with the VF-4 mold.
  14. you can get those from Chinese Wholesalers at less then a penny each, from fabric to silicone. http://www.aliexpress.com/wholesale/wholesale-headphones-ear-pads.html
  15. what's up with flightpose now? No options available for ordering!
  16. Super Ostrich VF-0S/A Renewals VF-4 Repaint Miriya VF w/ option parts That's my most logical guess, and what makes sense for the molds.

    Vf-0 vs SV-51

    I love the VF0S and would buy a v2.
  18. I haven't even transformed mine, it's just sitting in my detolf case. I'm not sure I'm really feeling it at this point, it's nice, but not THAT nice. If anyone is interested at getting one at cost, pm me. I don't think I'm going to keep mine.
