  1. I'm thinking we should just collectively sue Bandai for giving us PTSD on pre-orders, then use the money to buy out HG and MW becomes the North American license holder for all things Macross... Then let Arcadia sell in North American for free, in return for free valks for members.
  2. Pre-order for the renewal renewal VF-25S opens 4/1/2013 at 3am US PS time @ NY and HLJ FYI.
  3. Have to ask Graham, but perhaps Yamato used distribution centers and Distributors, and they are finally getting around to releasing all the back log product sitting around. It's possible (looking at the way Takara does business) that there are still a few warehouses left with pallets full of the last few releases being sold now that product is escaping from the shelves. Like the production order was filled, Yamato sends everything to the distribution centers, distributor sells to HLJ, HKC, ect. HKC sells out of most product and re-orders... Distributors open up dusty pallets of back logged Valks and starts offering them up. unless HKC messed up, there might be one last hurrah of product to come. I dream of being Scrooge Mc.Duck but instead of jumping into a tower of money, it's a tower of Yammy boxes. Oh how awesome would it be to see the last few 30th releases seep out. I'm looking at you VF-1D and VE-1.
  4. hopefully it's easier to obtain th.. it won't, it's Ban-die also just realize.. xrentonx your a frequent 3A forum poster. I'm like I ust saw that avatar 5 mins ago, well duh, it's the same poster too. ha
  5. HKC usually don't screw around, it could be securing product stuff in warehouses more then an actual re-stock from Ghost yamato it literally just appeared, so if you order soon, it's more likely you will get one, and not get a cancel notice.
  6. at HKC you just put a deposit, usually 13 USD, and then pay the rest when it hit's stock.
  7. Holy crap, HKC has the VF-1S Hikaru 30th with option parts back on pre-order for 115! I bought one, hope it becomes reality!!
  8. I gotta agree with this, 1/48 is what got me into this originally, nothing beats a 1/48 Big Bad valk. I'm still hoping to pick up a strike parts set for cheaper then 150 at some point. Get a 1/48, don't be on the fence, they are spectacular!
  9. The topic was lost by page 2, but it's all good.. I'm about to pull a trigger here, just waiting for my financial adviser to scream "NO!"
  10. I agree with one of the aboves, swing open nose cone, and wing flaps would make me buy them all. Plus I really wouldn't mind some real world repaints, a Low-Viz version but with the F-22 Stealth paint or some straight up repaints of actual Livery's like ... sundowners Evaluators I think that would be a welcomed repaint line, and give a trully nice farewell to the tomcat, the inspiration of the VF-1
  11. because he has Kak in his name? Ben Dixon is a so much better name. well most of the RT names were better then the Macross ones, but I'll leave that fight to another topic lol.
  12. I canceled my NY order, I'm over the lark up on the Bandai valks, not worth it. I'll keep my HF order, and if it comes in great, if not, I'll never know the difference.
  13. Yamato was a big company, with many product lines through out the years, I'd be willing to bet they owned a controlling stake in at least one factory, which would be the reason they were never knocked off. Even still, it's more then likely the main owner of Yamato will end up keeping the stake in the factory. You can't produce items that won't be knocked off unless you own the factory, Yamato might have seemed small to you, but there are smaller companies in the states that own controlling shares of plants in china, and it's the only way to keep an intellectual property safe.
  14. some people don't have the space, some people are in it for the whole deal, and maybe just want it boxed for protection. You can't get mad at the buyers, if your annoyed that it's limited, hate Bandai like the rest of us.
  15. went ahead and pre-ordered both. at least even if it sucks, the box art should be worth the display space.
  16. just the way it is, but in the end, it's preference of display.
  17. Not likely, they would show up in a search for "Bandai Macross" I'm more likely to believe Scott stopped ordering Macross DX because Bandai telling him tough luck on ordering because he sells to customers outside of Japan.
  18. also don't forget, every company on the planet toy wise, has their toys go on sale, clearance and they don't go out of business. I bet the Money problem of Yamato's was based on something other then a slow selling Macross line. Since they make a million other things. I think Arcadia will fly right back into the SDF-1 and start production on new Valks once the legal dust settles. I'd say, just hang on, buy what you LOVE, not what you like. I'm sure we will be surprised. Also, just because Graham's sources don't have much to say, that would be because during any legal Bankruptcy, information is on a need to know basis. more then likely only corporate seat members, and high ups have any real idea what went down, and where they are headed.
  19. ^ that's the way it works sadly. At least they don't steal tax payer money to do it!
  20. wha? the 19P doesn't have removable intake covers...
