  1. Niiice. I can't wait to get my hands on that one. And no word on the Power-up Glaug eh? well I guess that'd be too much to ask, as well as a Nousjadul-ger (can't you tell I'm a Zjent fan?) And of course, those are my fav. mecha. And while we're on the subject of other things to paint and color, are capital ships an eventual? (envisions a custom colored SDF-1.....) [edit: and out of curiosity, how did you make these? Illustrator?]
  2. Here's yet another one. Just about every source says that the ARMD platforms are armed with five Overtechnology guided converging beam cannons (In other words, particle beam turrets). My question is where are they exactly? They don't appear anywhere on ARMD-01, and the only cannons I can find are on ARMD-02 right in front of each engine housing (Which do not appear on ARMD-01...) The stats COULD be referring to the TV version (In which there are five large turrets) but I thought they also traslated over to the movie version. And the macross II sourcebooks (Innacurate as they are...) indicate that at least two of the beam cannons are mounted in the nose (the 'claws' on the ARMDs). My other question was what's the real armament of the SDF-1? I'm not concerned with the really small anti-mecha turrets and missile launchers, just the big anti-ship guns that you see dotted on the hull of the ship. Egan's stats say eight turrets but I don't belive that. There's gotta be at least thirteen(overtechnology guided converging beam canons) particle turrets in addition to the four rail guns and bow-firing main gun. And I think there's many more on the DYRL version. Thanks in advance.
  3. I guess a request for a Glaug or a Gnerl (Fighter pod) would go unheeded eh? Nothing says the Zentreadi in the UN Spacy didn't put nose art on their craft after culture
  4. Fun. Thanks Hikaru! I really need to track down those books. If not for the Macross, then for the Orguss.
  5. Huh...I thought it looked a little different than this, but it's good nonetheless. Thanks Hikaru! Can we see the other one?
  6. Actuallyif you look around it seems that pretty much every valk in the image has that secondary gattling gun as main armament (with the exception of the bottom-right one). If anything it's probably just a different artist's interpretation of the VF-1, like how in the Gundam comics the Zakus have a vulcan cannon armament in the left arm.
  7. Got it. Thanks.
  8. What I meant was the squadron designation abbreviations. If heavier than air fighters of the 'real' air forces have the VF ID tag (I.e. VF-103 is the jolley rogers), was it ever specified the squadron tag for Variable fighter squadrons? And how are Destroid squads designated? Or are all of the grouped armed forces on the Macross designated by a color and/or symbol? (Vermillion, Skull, etc...) I suppose it's too detailed for Macross to have an answer, but maybe Egan or Nanashi know.
  9. Here's another one: What's the squadron designation tags for Variable fighters and Destroids?
  10. Scans?
  11. Can anybody find Miku's one picture? (Hikaru & Misa's daughter)
  12. I know one exists out there somewhere. Maybe Egan has it. I think it might have been a Mikimoto illustration but I can't be sure.
  13. Ironic, I just did a search for Miku yesterday. The real question is; where's the one picture of Miku that exists? And are there any more?
  14. I find it hard to belive that the ASS-1 did not have some contingent of small craft aboard. The only case where I can see this is if they expended their assault force or the ship was stolen without a force placed aboard. And does Exedol specifically say this was a Gunship? And do we beleive Tv over games? And about the Monitor thing: well, let's just say it has a lot of support weapons yeah, an SDF is in a class of it's own. Otherwise it'll be VCVABM.
  15. Hmm..... The Macross is a Monitor, yet it carries fighters... (CVA- Attack carrier + BM Monitor) CVABM? - Carrier Monitor?
  16. In just about every source I know the Constellation is another Consitution class CA. It's my beleif that it's a Command Cruiser instead of a regular CA, which means heavier armanent and a rear phaser. It would also explain why Decker is in command of a heavier ship. But that's for Starfleet battles terminology. I don't know what Paramount says about it- as far as they're concerned the only 'constellation' they know of is TNG's freaky four engined thing. And the Constellation was pretty much an old enterprise kit with rearranged numbers. it was 'Attacked' by a sodering iron and the result was what you saw on screen. I always wanted to know what a Constellation-A would look like. Aside from the modded model I have in SFC, now's my chance to make an accurate model of it. I just either need to paint the designation on by hand or find a decail set to make it.
  17. Maybe it destroys guns??? It might be someone just misunderstood and put 'Gun Destroyer'. It's only a game, and there's bound to be some flaws. I don't think ia lot of thought was put into making every single designation for the Zent-Melt correct. Maybe we should just call it a fleet monitor instead. A big gun and not much else is pretty much what a Monitor is...
  18. Forget the Enterprise, When I get mine I'll have to kitbash the 1017-A. (Kudos to those who know that one).
  19. Then comes the obvious question: Where can we get it and when? (Both the shiny liny VF-19 and the -22 'prototype')
  20. *Thinks*...Modular eyes... Either that or there are really three Misa Hayases, one with each seperate eye color.. ...boy, imagine what would happen if that were true.
  21. Is it just me or did the pannels shrink between both frames? It looks like the side hatch isn't big enough to cover the arm like portrayed in the first frame.
  22. The first one looks like a DYRL coloring for the hair. The second one looks like the TV version. I don't know what her eye color is. She has tired eyes most of the time so I can't really tell. But based off the images on the Macrossworld site, I'd say her eyes are green.
  23. Indeed, best of luck. I'd like to see what kind of illustrations you do outside of the existing line art of the Megaroad. In a way I'm envious, because I could never make a project on such a cool subject by myself, and I don't have any freinds who could pitch together to do this. Again, Best of luck!
  24. I think the YF designator is usually for test aircraft.
  25. Huh. And the Compendium doesn't list it either. If you ask me, I'd say the top is a double-barrel impact rifle, five missiles (grenades?) in the undermount and the side gun might be a particle cannon (Similar to Regult make maybe)?
