Right, but this is a pretty brazen work by a Chinese company which will be licensed under Robotech (thats the understanding I have). The Masterpiece garbage was a bit different (and was garbage). No doubt KitzConcept will be producing this kind of stuff even when the 2021 loss of rights rolls around.

I had 3 open PO's. The payment request and cancellation went to my spam folder. Only when i saw the Jota was released did i realize it. I simply reordered the Jota and HMR Nexx on amiami. Will see what happens when the dark Legioss comes out.

Wait, WTH? I had a preorder with amiami for the Jota Legioss and HMR Nexx and I cannot find that order on their site ANYWHERE...it simply disappeared. WTH? Amiami messages are going to my spam folder (and the order was cancelled)????

Based on prices, I think the smartest move after the SV-51 would be the VF-11 series. VF-11B, VF-11C, Milia, VF-11B VF-X, etc. The B & C are pretty pricey online.

Personally I hate the detachable legs on my Yamato 22S. They come off/shift too easily

So Nexx's comes with Nexx and Hibiki figures? If they ever made the SNN valkyrie I'd flip. My Nexx is combined order with the ET Legioss Jota...will be a while before I see it. I wish they'd do static ships in another line. Ghosts, fan racer, lancer 2, gnerl, other non-transforming fighters.

Oh that ending is a mess and completely ruins the feel of Oshii's vision of the story. It goes on at least 3 scenes too long and completely changes your opinion of the main character, which is unfortunate. The anime ending feels pretty brutal with the reveal by the head of the special section into the true nature of the main character. The last fight scene with the main character in full armor is pretty sweet though.

Its the same. I did a search for the film name and nothing came up. Its less cheesy than the Oshii live- action productions IMO. They felt more melodramatic than this. The sewer scene was well done.

Prices are lower but shipping is higher. They're known for terrible customer service.

It's on Netflix, a WB production... It's a live-action version of Jin-Roh. Set in the near future in a unified Korea. Did these Koreans just blatantly ripoff Oshii's work? Looks like Oshii knew about it.. I'd hope he gets some royalties thrown his way.

Won't really matter. We will never see Macross in Target/Wallyworld. There would have been a good chance for TRU in the collectors section...if it still existed. $15-20 over Japan retail would be generally worth it to buy here in the states.

VF-2SS Silvie also sold out on day 1 (I missed the preorder). Nexx, since its simply a recolor, is not as popular.

The part (or lack thereof) that sways me away from L-Gaim Mk II is the missing backpack which would make the torso look more full.

I don't think so. Its not red, and doesn't have the shoulder restraints. Giant Gorg perhaps? Maybe L-Gaim Mk II? Probably neither.
