My point is we normally get a hero valk mainly built for speed and for dog-fighting. I wish there were more fighter bomber designs, or different valks doing the sniping/recon or even as a missile carrier just for variety. I guess i miss the Kawamori with many sketches and experimental designs. The 262 looks like a step in the right direction and would welcome more of that variety. -
I suspect half of the wing area is actually an arm, which splits along the gold outline running down the green area(in the pic abv) of the wing. the wing tips then form and attach to the back of the forearm somehow... hopefully they will reveal it soon

What is sneaky bas**** in nihongo? I thk bandai is going for market presence, and not let one particular company monopolise a "line". Implementation wise its going in like the old microsoft way. Slower to market, then releasing close to alternative products. However unlike microsoft, Bandai is offering quite competitive quality products with their tampo and engineering. 1/100 to 1/60 aside, the fact that the 1/100 gets a SAP, thats added value there, in addition to the price point. It also got me thinking abt the 1/100 vf-0s announcement. Bottom line, the company that adds more value usually gets the customers vote.

Yup, I still consider them to be making macross toys, hence the reference to the guitars and stuff Unassembled models hmmm....a more mature method of snap-fit so to speak? If they figure out how to make it not too difficult to assemble and if the assembled model is sturdy enough, thats a whole new market that can opened. That would be the dawn of the valk mechanix series Just like the lego techics.... At time i do wish Mr K reads our forums (i dont know if he does since its in engrish..). So many awesome ideas to be explored!

I would like to see NUN or even UNSpacey come back in some way. Even as a galactic empire shades... of SW. Just so happens the post on macross mecha manual's FB was on the topic of UNSpacey's power...https://www.facebook.com/macrossworld/posts/943786642371378 That being said, I thk the state of valyrie -dom recently has been focused on a lot of dog fighting valks...where are the role specific valks...everything is multi-role today (though i cant blame kawamori as that seems to be reflection of the real world where he gets some inspiration from).. -

Just notticed on the new closeup both topside and bottomside flaps are now there at the end of the wing.Could these be Somehow be ankle protectors when the thrusters become feet? the whole vent section above the back flaps could be a gigantic lower leg flares should it rotate downwards to Meet the feet..as trump says......thats uuuuuugggggeeeee Whats the use seperating top and bottom sets of back flaps in flight anyway? Shouldnt all in one be better?

I thk the 1/100 would look great placed in between the larger 1/60 scales, to make display's look more interesting with contrast of sizes... Think of it as complementing and enhancing the macross vibe!

hey wait a smooth underside, engine thrusters that are together, intakes as shoulder pads, head unit that seems to be hidden.... the draken needs a nice transformation sequence...

there is always hope! after all what is a1S other than a new head and repaint.. Likely the sales of the first will drive the rest... I also hope that its legs are tight enough to stand on its own! I thk securing it would need to be thought out so it wont topple over but yet will not interfere with the overall display..

Wow yeti,awesome shots! You are opening up a whole new way to display here... I can imagine painting the wall (blue skies, moving ground) which would instantly bring out the display with background! Or a mirror solution with a gap in the center where the wall mount goes, to show off the undersides of the valks flying on the wall.. nice!

two legs but a single thruster? x-wing did it! tho whether its two halves or 2 full rings joined closely together, is anyone's guess. We need a zoomed in directly behind the nozzle picture to confirm this!
