It could be Wang who's donating money to A-LAWS. The whole "playing both sides" would fit her. But Louise also has the motivation to do it, and the funds. I just found it funny how they cut to Louise as their fading out to that scene. He's suppose to be able to sense the area around him. With Hal "gone", and sitting in a jail cell for 4 years has probably taken a toll on his skills.

Egan hasn't indicated to me whether or not he is getting the Chronicles. My checking of info against the Compendium has made me guess there isn't much editing to do on certain areas. When I looked at the VF-5000 sheets against the Compendium, the Compendium actually got most of the info already. I found most of it to be the same with the YF-21 sheets vs. Compendium. I'm not even gonna look at the VF-1 until the Chronicle is done with it... The timeline was also filled in fairly well. The Chronicle goes into more history and minute details, but I don't think Egan really expanded much on that since I believe he was writing from a general POV, which is the stance I've taken on the Compendium. Egan has been expanding on stuff I've pulled from various publications I have however. I'm working on the World sheet for Eden, as time permits, but I've only done a prelim scan of it, mostly of the indigenous species. I've done some prelim work on the SNN Valk, the Fan Racer, and other various areas. But I'm really jumping around just doing fact-checking and looking for info that we don't have right now. I've also review the Basara and Ranka sheets. I'm previewing the Q-Rau sheet right now and the Sheryl sheet next.

"Confirmed" and "4chan" don't exactly go together... Nadleeh Akwos is new equipment for Nadleeh to increase the effectiveness of the TRIAL system. But since VEDA was hacked, that equipment became useless.

Didn't Howard have a contract for the Iron Man movies or was he contracted for just 1? Although, there's probably a clause that says Marvel can revoke the deal, but I'm curious to know.

Escaflowne (TV) came out and ended in 1996. The movie came out in 2000.

It used its beam saber in the first episode. The sabers are stored in the arms. There is some speculation that the shields act like Bits. That would be the favorable side-effect if a RT movie made it and makes it. But RT isn't Macross. RT is its own monster. Well, someone figured out where I was going with that line of thought. But yes, the overall effect would be we would have a whole new string of fans to deal with. Ones who entered this little genre via the live-action. How that will play out would depend on how this movie goes.

If a RT movie does well enough to generate a new RT fanbase, then expect more RT stuff to come. But this would assume a movie will be made and will do good, which is something I can't answer since it hasn't gotten to that point yet. It's a what-if. Now, if a movie does get made, goes sour in the box office, well, then we could say that a movie is the final nail-in-the-coffin.

A lot of what Mao and Sara told Shin probably stems from Mayan mythology so it's somewhat confusing. The best way to look at it is, there is a truth in the stories, but I won't put that much faith in a literal telling of the stories.

Thankfully, our Macross is safe and sound. Do RT fans live in the past? Perhaps. Will a RT movie do good? I haven't seen a script or a director attach themselves to this movie so I can't say. But as a word of warning, the TF fans cringed at Bayformers (and still cringe), yet it actually did well in the box office. No one can really say how a RT movie will do. As fans of Macross, we cringe at RT. Loathe it. But if it gets a green light, you can bet that they will try to get the non-fans, people who've never heard of Robotech or Macross, into the theaters. And if it generates a new fanbase for RT, well, you know where I'm going with this. I will maintain my stance, I want to see a script, and if a director attaches themselves to this project, I want to know who.

Just because the show stops doesn't mean there's still stuff coming out for it. Heck, we've got a movie coming our way. And you can bet people will be back in mass when that one comes around.
