I'm sure the bombshell will drop at the end like when they revealed Malcolm Merlyn was the Black Archer of Arrow. The year of the newspaper article is 2024. As for this week's crossover... -"That man deals out brutal justice"... I thought I heard Batman as well. Oh well. But it does correlate to Batman and Superman where Batman also dispenses a cruel form of justice vs. Supes. Kinda brings to light how DC's human heroes see the world vs how the meta-humans do. -Color/Emotional psychology. Tee hee. -I liked Ollie's speech at the end of the Flash-part of the crossover. Reminds me of Identity Crisis where Ollie made the same speech to Wally West about why they wear the mask. -Which brings up the nightclub scene in Arrow where the Flash-crew realize that it isn't a game. Nice of them to bring up how the 2 shows see the world. It's one of the things I like about the 2-sides of the same coin.

Terminator 5/Terminator: Genisys, opening July 1, 2015
azrael replied to areaseven's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
That was the only redeeming plot point of the whole movie. But T3's whole plot that Judgement Day will come no matter what feels like a semi-fixed flux point. It's going to happen but the details could change as to how it happens. Which means whatever happens in these movies where they are time traveling are meaningless.- 508 replies

Looks like the finally agreed to a payment plan. BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH TO PLAY DOCTOR STRANGE (Marvel.com) One wonders how much he's getting for this role. And dammit, it better not get in the way of Sherlock.- 94 replies

Glad I'm not the only one who noticed that. I hope the Stormtroopers don't have any Imperial flair on their armors.

At least no 'effin lens flare. The pilot suits, X-wing cockpit, stormtrooper guns feel....fanboy amateur-ish. And yes, that lightsaber with the short-blades on the cross-guard are dangerous. The whole concept of the cross guard was to protect the hand, not potentially injure it at the same time.

Ya sure those dinosaurs don't have HIM trained? I know dogs and turtles that train owners to do exactly what they want, when they want. Or hell....cats, the pets that think THEY'RE the ones in charge of the house.

Why does that remind me of when Homer Simpson changed his name to "Max Power". You would think after 3 movies, they would learn not to screw with nature... In movie world, nature screws you.

That's why I mention that 1g and acceleration. Because gravity would affect your relative velocity and acceleration by reducing your velocity and relative acceleration because there's a force pulling on you as you run from it. 'Eff it. This is the better answer.

But is it worth it? The seller could then drop FBA-service. The seller then reduces their costs using Amazon. They'll still sell through Amazon, but handle the distribution by themselves.
-
"Fulfilled by Amazon" means: Instead of the seller packing, sending, and replacing returns, Amazon does it on behalf of the seller. The seller pays Amazon for storage and handle the customer service for them. So if you need to return an item, you can return it to an Amazon warehouse instead of to the seller, and then Amazon ships you the replacement from the seller's stock at Amazon's warehouse. So the transaction is still essentially with the seller. Amazon is essentially doing the "last mile" of the transaction between you and the seller.

Battlestar Galactica TOS remastered (fanwork)
azrael replied to Dobber's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Oh well. I would just consider it sloppy mixing in the Mk.II VFX into the Mk.I VFX. In the end, Universal probably didn't see $$$ no matter how much he tried to lower the costs. Oh well.- 19 replies

Gonna agree with TheLoneWolf. Nothing to see here. When you buy items sold by other distributors/sellers thru Amazon, you are doing the equivalent of hitting the "Buy Now" button on eBay. There are legit sellers on both eBay and Amazon. They are just using those sites as a vehicle to sell their goods. Just as sellers here sell items to other members on MW, that's what's happening there.

For reference, you'll need to look up the Theory of Relativity. But as mentioned, it's all relative. People on Earth are moving at a certain speed relative to the planet. The planet is spinning at a certain speed and orbiting the sun at a certain speed. We are also affected by that 1g of acceleration. When you factor all that in, we are moving with our planet. So our passage of time behaves a certain way according to those factors. If you leave the planet, you are moving at a different velocity and at a different acceleration. So now the passage of time occurs at a different rate according to those factors, relative to that new situation. If you go to a different planet, times passes at a different rate according to the velocity and acceleration of that planet, i.e., it won't be the same as on Earth. It won't be the same for that spaceship you came on.
