  4. does anyone know the color of the FAST pack cannon beam... since there are lenses in the cannon tip?
  5. not even Hasegawa are consistent in they're backpacks... this 1/20 model takes alot from the 1/48 Hasegawa kits.. you new backpack looks good, however im actually more partial to the original kit backpack.. that said, im gonna display the kit with FAST pack so wont se much backpack anyway..
  6. yeah i remember those vcr's .. also my first model kit was a F-14A Tomcat and i painted it as Roys VF-1S
  7. no offence, but the US studios have a bad habit of renaming anime characters to more english sounding names.. which then transfers over to other language dubs. makes it hard for kids in the 80's and 90's to know what they are actually watching
  8. Nadia i do not think we had.. but could probably be rented in a videostore or gas stations back then. like others such as Sandybel, Starzinger, NausicaƤ ect ect. but it was first in the late 90's or very early 2000's that i found out the shows where actually Japanese.
  9. well not many... most anime sci-fi fan will probably nod if you ask about Robotech.. but i seriously doubt anyone would know Macross and definetly not the new shows like Frontier or Delta. i personally only know of two others who knows about Macross. like so many others around the world i was introduced to Macross through Robotech back in the 80's and later when the internet started to be something every household had i started looking for Robotech art, and in doing so learned that Robotech was not the actual show, but a bastard version of Macross. which led me to finding my first anime downloads... things have then spiraled out since then
  10. thx Mechtech... its just a quick build before i start my 1/20 VF-1
  11. i myself am going to modify the feet, when i get mine tomorrow. ill post what changes i make.
  12. a little project while i wait for my plamax 1/20 gerwalk
  13. never ordered anything from them so no experience... but 250$ seems excessive!
  14. back in stock at hlj https://hlj.com/1-20-scale-plamax-mf-25-minimum-factory-vf-1-super-strike-gerwalk-valkyrie-max01069
  15. i found out why, for Hlj atleast.. the automated system that figures out quotes on freight, can not handle it, if the box gets too big or heavy. so those that have bought it on hlj needs to write customer service to get they're quotes.
  16. same for me and i live in Denmark.. probably the guy who research the shipping prices to certain countries, took the week off, or something i dont know
  17. start with the center of the ship, then the bridge part... then the side thrusters, and then from there you can build rest in which ever order you wish.. hope that helps
  18. maybe i should try to get my hands on a bandai/takatoku SDF-1 and make my own modifcations!
  19. well you did a great job... looking more closely i spot alot more of the same details
