  1. I can't tell you the number of times I've read articles on the interwebs and noticed misspellings and just poor grammar. No one bothers to proof read anymore! Back on topic - great pics! I saw all of Blackaces stuff this weekend. Nice to see other valkyrie designs getting some love.
  2. Wow, very cool! Nice job on the painting. What is/are Jasmine Models PE? Decals? I really dig seeing valk models with alternate paint schemes instead of the usual canon. I need to build one of my valks!
  3. That is some amazing detailing at that scale! Very cool!
  4. I kinda figured it probably had.........but I was struck by it's sheer awesomeness. 1/60th scale would be pretty cool though.
  5. If you do have issues with it, I will happily give you the one that I have. Mine's been sitting in a box ever since I bought it 15 or so years ago.
  6. Wow! This is cool. Dunno if this has been posted or pointed out before, apologies if it has. Found this link while looking for info or pics regarding the VF1-G from the Master File book. This is over at GundamModelKits.com. http://www.gundammodelkits.com/modelers-g-take-off-vf-1-valkyrie-diorama.html
  7. Now I see what you were talking about. Very cool and I like the HUGE pile of boxed models.
  8. I liked the designs from 0083. Did he only do the GP-01?
  9. Just found this thead. Excellent work Ron! Thank you for sharing.
  10. Maybe they used the cut that was used for the Clash Of The Bionoids that was released back in the 80's. I remember watching DYRL for the first time and seeing Miriya stomping the dudes head. That was light years better than the COTB VHS that I had. I'll reserve judgement when the final version is released.
  11. LOL! Awesome. If ever I get to Japan, I want to see the life size Gundam, but it would be cool to include a life size valkyrie too. Just found a link via Google. How effin' cool is it that there is a life sized VF-25??!!?!?! Of course, I seem to be behind the curve on this one as it was making the rounds last month. Anyone know if the valk will be a permanent fixture anywhere?
  12. I have a question - is the valkyrie that Kawamori-san is sitting in front of real?
  13. Antibiotictab - I missed the Gerry Anderson mecha. At what point in the vid did you see those?
  14. Wow! That is so cool that the dash is fully lit. Looking forward to seeing the completed model.
  15. Just watched that vid and at 7:50 behind the Laputa mecha is a model of the Moonbase shuttle from the UFO TV show!! How cool! UFO was favorite show when I was a wee lad.
  16. I remember seeing their work a few years back. It's just awesome to see all the custom schemes. Cancer107, thank you for joining MW. I very much look forward to seeing what you guys do next. Oh, I did click Like on the Facebook page! And I just remembered that they had a website around the time that Hasegawa started producing the valkyries. There were some pictures of recently built valks that were taken outside on someone's car near the ocean.
  17. Wow. Haven't built a model in years.........I look forward to the completed model though. I built three of these Arii valks back in the early 90's and I liked them. They aren't the best models, but they turned out pretty decent. I did two 1As and a 1D and I pretty much stayed with the stock paint schemes. Keep at it!
  18. Wo. Just.......wow. I look forward to the finished product.
  19. if you mean Takaken (was that the name?) I have at least one of those shorts someplace still. I'll see if I can figure out what I've done with that.
  20. I finally put out a VF-1A version 1 that I've had for years. It was my first Yammie and will be the only one shortly. I would say that my favorite anime related toy without a doubt is my Unifive God Phoenix!
  21. If Spacemonkey hasn't gotten back to you, I know I have at least one VF-1A kit still. Let me know if you need the parts still.
