  1. I have only seen the first three episodes of Yukikaze. The storyline is a little hard to follow, but the aircombat scenes are pretty cool. I remember folks here talking about the series a coupla years back and the general concensus seemed to be that the story was crap. The story may be crap, but you can't deny that the plane designs are pretty interesting. I am still hoping that Yellow Submarine will make the 1/144th Slyphid. I have one of the Mave models and it's pretty cool. I just Bandai will get with the program and release the entire series to the North American market....................
  2. I like the design. Vaguely but not unlike the fighters from Rahxephon.
  3. hey Knight26, excellent avatar you have there!!!! I love Hank Caruso's work!
  4. In TMS, you can make your own car with 3rd party 3D modeling tools. Go here: TM Carpark I drive an Aston Martin Vanquish in the Island environment. I would like to learn how to make my own cars for this game. I can think of a couple that would be fun to model.
  5. I know some of us here are car buffs and I just noticed recently that Macross is now represented in TMS! Someone who doesn't seem to know that MW exists made a YF-19 model to race with. edit in: I just re-read the first post of the thread at DJ......Chronocidal, is this your model? YF-19 model for TMS For anyone who hasn't heard of this game, it's a fun car racing game. It's the only one that I have found for PC that allows you to actually purposely jump over stuff. And depending on how the jumps are built, you can get some serious hangtime! The game includes a track editor that is quite easy to use. The only limit to the editor is your imagination. :-) The game is moddable so that you can create your own car models as well as skins for the existing game cars. The online racing component is fun too. I've been on some servers that have had up to 20 people racing at once. One thing about this game is that there is no collision detection between cars. But once you've raced online, you'll realize why it's a good thing. The cars in this game can reach speeds of 900mph. Go here for the demo and game trailers I believe that I have seen a Nissan Skyline model for the game. If you're looking for a new PC game, give this one a look.
  6. That's the one I was thinking about! Glad to see Burn is alive and well!
  7. There was someone who used to post here pretty regularly that had all the opening movies from the games available. Even the SD version of the opening of Macross. Don't know the link anymore though..........
  8. Nice work Ido. Nice to see Kakizaki getting some love.
  9. Unfortunately, his site is no longer up. I know I still have the file on a CD someplace. I'd be happy to send a copy to you. I'd offer to e-mail it, but it's something like 58MB in size I think. There was also someone called Takaken who has a nice fan film thingie. Let me know if you'd like me to send a CD to you. Just PM me.
  10. There was a guy who goes the alias Ryutaro who has a very cool unfinished fan film. I think there used to be a link to his site from MW. I've seen one other that was quite long. Can't remember who did it though.
  11. Is the November issue of Model Graphix worth picking up? I am wondering if it's anything like the couple of issues that had multiple valk models with different color schemes...............
  12. G4 TV has an hour long special tonight with a recap of their time at TGS. Should be fun!
  13. Excellent work!!! Could we see some pics of the Super Valks you have in those pics?
  14. Wow. Cool. Thank you sir. That is very, very generous of you to do. Where's the bowing smiley when you need it??
  15. I had an opportunity to drive my friend's 1997 325i and I know how you feel. The car was so much fun to drive! I could almost see owning a BMW...................
  16. That is very cool!!!!! Reminds of the pods for the Battletech game from the 90's. Never got to do it, but it looked like it'd be cool.
  17. Nice to see that Garoquel is still with us! Nice wallpapers guys!
  18. Forgot all about that thread...............
  19. I love the Ex-S Gundam! Still would like to pick up a Deep Striker one of these days. Thanks for the pics Zeo Mare!
  20. I highly recommend picking up this book. It is well worth it. Lots of cool pics, models, some nice variations on the Zeta Plus, and some excellent artwork as well. If you are a fan of the Ex-S Gundam, there's a nice buildup of the cover model. All in all, a phenomenal book. It's out of stock at HLJ, but so you can see the book cover: Gundam Sentinel book
  21. Good to know that I am not the only one who thought it looked smaller than it should. Still cool to see though.
  22. I think that I still have a catalog or two laying around someplace. I walked by the storefront once in 96'. I ordered my first Gundam model and a VF-2SS from them. Still wish I'd ordered the B-Club special for Bubblegum Crisis from them instead of paying $100 for it on E-Bay............. (sigh)
  23. Motoslave?????????? Nice figures from AS. I'd love to see a motoslave though.
