    The TLJ thread, obviously, since many of the clips come from The Last Jedi (spoilers!), and there's no reference to Solo whatsoever (nor is there any reference to The First Order in Solo). It bugs me that so much of the commentary in this thread -- and Star Wars fandom in general -- is criticizing the relatively harmless Solo for the sins of The Last Jedi. Having said that, however, I'm grateful that you posted that link regardless, since I was thus far unaware that intelligent, educated people posted video essays on YouTube. Everything else I've seen posted in these threads have suggested the exact opposite, so it's damned refreshing to see a charming, eloquent fangirl with a moderate point of view express herself amidst all the raving, idiotic fanboys spewing vitriolic invective elsewhere.

    I'm not a fan of Takeya's "City Hunter" redesign. It takes too many liberties with the original Predator 2 costume, making the armor look more like an H.R. Giger illustration. If you're going to design a new Predator, I'm all for it -- sequels, comics, and action figures have been doing it for decades -- but there's no reason to mess with pre-established designs. I think a Figma Predator should be more accurate to the source material, like Takeya's Alien: Why couldn't his Predator be as accurate as his xenomorph?

    You guys are tempting me to pick up a couple of extra Riobots, while they're still available at reasonable prices. It would be great to customize with vintage Imai model kit parts for a more accurate anime-style look, or make a modern Borough Superior (provided Sentinel doesn't release their own)... or even just repaint them in a Dark Mospeada color scheme. Oh, and speaking of which: I've finally added a CM's "Type 31" Dark Mospeada to my collection of 1:18th ride armors. Say what you will about the fiddly, fragile little CM's; they released more Mospeada characters and mecha variants than any other company did back in the day, or likely ever will in the future... and they came fully-equipped with saddlebags and sidearms.

    About what you'd expect -- more purple, more green, more jets. ACE-01 "Tumbler" would make a fine Masterpiece Cliffjumper, if only he had a decent face sculpt... but alas, that ship has sailed. Maybe XTB's "Toro" will fare better...

    That would seem to be the majority consensus: "Gabriel" provides a better robot mode, and "Terminus Gigantus" provides a better alt. mode. I'm in no hurry to transform my MP Omega Supreme -- it's hard enough to make space for in robot mode! -- so "Gabriel" completely satisfies me.

    He really doesn't. No shield, no gauntlets... just some Wakandan spear...? Good eye, Noel. I head-swapped him with a Hasbro figure with decent fists, 'cause Bandai's has dainty wrists and tiny, tiny fists... and if he doesn't have a shield to wield, I don't even know how to pose him. He's just gonna hide in shame at the back of the display anyway. Actually, I didn't bother with either of Bandai's "Homecoming" offerings. Between Hasbro and Revoltech, there are too many similar-looking Spider-Men already on my shelves.

    I would take anything that site posted with a Gundam-sized grain of salt... There are factual errors, spelling mistakes, vague and uncredited sources, and they don't even identify the author!

    Whoah, the missiles have to be purchased separately? Sure, we know there's a precedent for it -- the Hasegawa 1:48 weapon set, for example -- but I would've hoped at least some missiles were included in the main kit...
