  1. The shape looks good, but it's a little too large overall. I shortened the base plate significantly before modifying mine, 'cause the original piece is much too long... How are you intending to mount the FAST pack boosters?
  2. Ha! Typical. Girls never know anything about transforming robots.
  3. My 3P Legends-scale collection continues to expand with new additions from Magic Square...
  4. Masterpiece has run its course, Mike. Third-party Legends are the future. But you gotta stagger your shelves 'cause -- like TJ says -- that samey height makes it all blend.
  5. Wonderful pictures, SuperHobo. 12000 years in the future, mathematics will be a fine art. Japanese will be an extinct language.
  6. I had no interest in combining my set -- no use for a combiner at such a small scale -- but damned if you haven't convinced me to give it a go, TJ!
  7. Amber.
  8. Then it wouldn't be The Dark Crystal, would it? Genocide was a defining trait of the Skeksis, and the whole structure of Thra society was based on it.
  9. Correct. Released August of 2014.
  10. No, several of us commented on that when initial promotional pics were posted... It's still looks like a 1:60 pilot figure in a 1:48 cockpit to me.
  11. It's just a mock-up of the forward-section of the plane; presumably, the rest will be filled in with CGI. Didn't you guys notice the legs of the crew members where the fuselage should be?
  12. MAAS Toys have designed several unlicensed Transformers figures; are these officially-licensed Robotech products? I see them using the names, the Robotech logo and even the Harmony Gold logo...! If they're not licensed, they could be courting disaster.
  13. Worst video review EVER!
  14. Plus, Legendary Godzilla is portrayed as a heroic figure (as Toho portrayed him in the '70s, like in Godzilla vs. Hedorah), rather than an antagonist (as Toho portrayed him in the '60s, like in Mothra vs. Godzilla).
  15. Price is -- and will always be -- a very subjective issue. I'm not entirely sure MPM-06 is worth the asking price, either, given its poorly-engineered tabs and shoulders... but it sure looks the part! Scales well, too.
  16. And Dana Sterling in the pipeline...! They'd better fix her Dad's hair first, though.
  17. Where's the pre-order? Ah, who am I kidding? I'd never find the space for it.
  18. Not to mention their pricing scheme... That Scopedog was $450, was it not?
  19. Yeah, this guy. No weapons required!
  20. Hey, I never noticed the guy that gets fried as Hikaru crashes... Make 'em super-bright! Thanks for sharing!
  21. Okay, I think I've nailed the pose I was after. Now, what should I do about the feet, guys? Do I fill the gaps above the feet with kitbashed servos and hydraulics (like a real-world mecha), or do I scratchbuild new feet large enough to fill the gap (like the animation model sheets would suggest)?
  22. Battlar (aka "Corg") was a recurring character before he was evolved to human form. As a common Invid soldier, the only way to distinguish him from the others was his eye color. It was subtle, and if you weren't paying attention, you might've assumed it was a coloring mistake... but it's consistent, and eagle-eyed fans can watch him rise through the ranks in the latter half of the series. The eye color, therefore, depends on which Invid pilot you wish to depict.
