  1. Bring it on !. I've always liked the idea of populating those empty wings with some interesting ordnance. Agree on the attractiveness of the -1D. Its capability to give a fighting chance to the older gen VFs against the latest and greatest is an interesting concept.
  2. Update: Available for purchasing @ HLJ now as a backordered item. hlj.com/product/HSG65765
  3. Hi Macross modelers !. Hasegawa has announced the re-issue of the Max's VF-22S from Macross 7 on next April 5th, and HLJ has re-activated the below link for this item to be purchased, now flagged as backordered. hlj.com/product/HSG65765 With this move, hopes for the moonshooters' VF-22S to be re-issued are now high. Happy hunting (online shopping) to everyone !
  4. Xigfrid, I must say that those ACSWS became way more interesting once you 3D-modeled them. Great work !!.
  5. Thanks for the thorough insight, Seto. I'm now consciously deleting the Stage II comments and the extra '0' on the output specs from my mind.
  6. Got confused on this one due to the engine model number as well. Could it be FF-3001 ?. Re-using an old engine model No. for a newer Stage II also seems some sort of misleading. FF-3001 series and 1,400ish kN class would make some sense to me (as long as I deliberately ignore the 'M2.89 @ 10 km' performance specs). Can you please shed some additional light on this?.
  7. Hasegawa keeps on bringing its rare birds back to production... and I can't be happier about it. Max's VF-22S from Macross 7 will be reissued next April !.
  8. Any time !. I might give 3D modelling a go with my very limited skills on SketchUp, but I confess it might take me eons to have a solid contestant... probably longer due to my new D.O.D.D. (Dad On Diaper Duty) after-hours part-time job. I'm not too fond of the ACSWS-1A either but the -1D gathers more attention, probably after Google-translating its description. The VF-171 rocket pod you mention is actually the Sentinal FXA-60A High-Speed Armor-Piercing Rocket Pod. But this last one looks some sort of weird to me: a big pod with only 6 tubes. This Messiah's MPBMS looks a little bit more realistic, just a personal preference. Anyway, I'll keep on bringing candidates from time to time, just as friendly reminders. Keep on bringing those awesome projects !!
  9. ... and some more... ASM-91 Stealth Anti-Ship Missile from VFMF VF-22 MPBMS from VFMF VF-25
  10. @Xigfrid, since this topic (along with the one about the ordnance pods) has become a hot subject thanks to your awesome 3D modelling/printing work, I just wanted to bring more "plates to the table for an eventual feast", all taken from VFMF VF-31: ACSWS-1A and -1D: Air-to-Air Stealth Cruise missiles with the capability to even the odds for an older gen VF to take on the latest VFs. At this point you're probably being swarmed with requests and open projects. But just wanted to bring these interesting items to your attention.
  11. Due for release next March 15th. I'll pass on this one and wait for the E, F and S variants later on.
  12. I'm impressed with the printing quality of FUD on these speakers !. This opens room for a lot of ideas (micro missile pods, strike packs, etc., etc.), although I definitely agree with you on the fact that it's an expensive material. I wonder what will be the price per cc for FXD once it's available.
  13. Hey Xigfrid, outstanding job on those speakers details !!!. What material is that ?. The new FXD by any chance ?. Looks tack-sharp for a 3D print out !!.
  14. Xigfrid, you rock, man !. Bandai, Arcadia, and Hasegawa should take notes from you !. Awesome work !.
  15. That's a beautiful bird !. You've just accomplished what Hasegawa has been reluctant to do all these years. Keep them coming !.
  16. Good move !. Hasegawa announced this one also to be out on February 8th, 2018. I've set alerts for periodically checking Hasegawa's new product info pages, so I can get finantially ready ahead of time
  17. Awesome !. Thanks for the heads up.
  18. Yes, they change the product flag from 'discontinued' to 'backordered', not to a 'future release' status. It's been working that way for the recent Hasegawa re-releases, not sure in the past though.
  19. Hasegawa's Japanese site shows the -31A re-release ready to ship on February 8th. ... and Mirage's bird will be out tomorrow...
  20. OK, official box art posted on Hasegawa's web site.
  21. C'mon... give us the full package ! ... it's not going to be one but two !!
  22. VF-19EF/A ==> Available on November 29th. VT-1 & VE-1 ==> Available on October 21st (I hate the fact of having spent tons of money on these two out at the surplus market, and now Hase has them back @ $20 Ea. or below. Aaaarrrrggghhh..., OK suck it up and pre-order both ).
  23. At some point we'll have them... no despair
  24. Great heads up !. Pre-ordered.
