  1. Totally agree. The Viper used to battle for the sleekest and sexiest fighter of the 4th generation. Those added CFTs remind me of a Victoria's Secret hottie dressed in a refrigerator cardboard box. I'd dare to speculate about a slight manoeuvrability loss on this beautiful bird due to those extra-fuel-carrying bricks sitting over the LERXs. Now, going back to modelling, you're doing great on that aircraft, electric indigo !. Great skills !
  2. Thanks a lot for the pictures, Electric indigo !!!. It is definitely a beautiful bird !!!. Being so clean and pristine reminds me of the Su-50 performing for the MAKS 2011 air show crowds, eager to get into real action. Great work !!!. Congrats !!.
  3. That VF-11 looks awesome on that russian splinter camo pattern. I'd love to see some close up pics of this bird !. Great work !!!!.
  4. Now that you mention this similarity, All the VFs ending in 9 (VF-9, VF-19, YF-29) have a forward-swept wing configuration...
  5. The fighter mode definitely looks beautiful. If the main mission of the YF-30 is to fulfill the interception role, it should definitely have wing suspended ordnance, probably medium to long range missiles. It looks way simpler than the YF-29, also less armed (no internal missile banks that I know of so far, except for that big missile container) and lighter (regarding its two engines platform). The YF-29 always looked to me as an overkilling platform due to it was meant to fight the Vajra threat, obviously meaning the use of a bast array of guns and missiles against an overwhelming enemy. I'd love to have at least a Bandai 1/100 model. But the utmost wish of mine would be getting a Hasegawa 1/72 of this beauty . I know this probably will never happen, and if it does, it's not going to be on a near future.

Yes, that missile launcher pack will definitely need a very strong PPB in order to avoid being ripped off. IMO, I didn't like that setup, but the fighter looks so beautiful !. It reminds me of the YF-24 Evolution a little bit.
  7. Well, I've been postponing my start to aircraft model building due to ongoing plans of moving to a more spacious apartment or house. So far I've stockpiled some 1/72 Hazegawas (YF-19 Alpha One, YF-21 Omega One, VF-19A Lightnings, VF-11B T-Bolt, VF-11B Super T-Bolt, VT-1 Super-O, VE-1 Elintseeker) and a 1/100 Bandai's YF-29. I started a 1/100 Bandai's VF-25F Alto Custom about 6 months ago, but I abandoned it due to so many mistakes, no planning at all and a huge frustration about dry decals. I'll restart the serious model building on a near future. Maybe I'll crank the engines up with some cheap models before the valkyries. I don't want to mess any of them.
