  1. Wiz13688, are you talking about this stand ? http://www.hlj.com/product/HSG12/Sci
  2. + 1. HLJ is moving quicker than usual on these items.
  3. Wowww!!. I just ran out of words. This technique is waaay beyond my understanding. ... and to think I was about to ask how to do that in photoshop...
  4. I know.... my bad... I've always been an insufferable numbers junkie.
  5. Thrust-to-weight ratio: (?) ..... = ~53.12 !!!!!!!!... That Chronos weighs less than the Messiah and packs an impressive amount of thrust. The new ruler of the twin engine valks !!!
  6. Wonder if the cockpit will give us details (as detailed as a 1/72 scale allows, of course) of a modern pilot suit sitting on an EX-Gear... at least of the upper body.

  8. You're totally right, Sebastian. Although a variety of ordnance has been issued previously, all of it has been bundled along with a limited edition of a specific model (except for the VF-1 ordnance pack, like you said). I would love to see some day new ordnance packs issued as accessories, like the X72-series and X48-series of weapons for WWII and modern military aircrafts. Hasegawa Model Co. has been 'cooking' an increasing amount of new macross models and/or variants, and now that its crews are incursioning on the Macross Frontier line might suggest they'll be working on the add-ons for the VF-25, and the VF-171, VF-27 and VF-29 sooner than later. Maybe it's time for them to 'milk' our wallets with a comprehensive selection of underwing weaponry. Like you, I wouldn't mind to get my hands on new RMS-7s, or maybe MDE missiles, or the stealthy PaCSWS-1. I'd be happier of having a more broad spectrum of weapons to hang below the wings of our models. Although knowing the fact that many VFs have micro missiles besides the gun pod and some other fixed armament, a good underwing loadout looks to me a like more proper attire for combat than just using a different livery or adopting a camo pattern, just my $.02.
  9. Those are the AMM-101 missiles. I saw them on the VF-25 Variable Fighter Master File. I wish Hasegawa would dedicate time and effort to develop more ordnance like these ones for our models, now that the VFMF publications are bringing us more underwing weaponry data. +2
  10. Thanks for the info, VF-15 !!!. Any news about the tech specs ?
  11. I don't have kids yet (I will, some day in 2-3 years). They are always a blessing. . Wish you to have a joyful life with your family. But at least we will see your build some day, right ?.
  12. Can't wait to see your build as well, Jefuemon. You guys are the vanguard, our benchmarks.
  13. Bonus ordnance ?. This is getting better than expected !!!. Just pre ordered two. ... and would you please put this one on the top of your pile and delight us with a new step-by-step ?.
  14. @Jefuemon: That was more than an awesome work !!. Thanks a lot for sharing it with us !. Just getting the thumbs up from Tenjin Hidetaka is more than dangerous for the faint hearted.
  15. Great job, Bowman; specially on the extreme wear !!!!. Looks very realistic !!!
  16. ... and I'd like to formally request your great step-by-step thread on this build if possible. A lot of people on this forum, specially the ones interested on Hasegawa kits (like myself), will definitely agree on considering your work as our benchmark.
  17. Thanks a lot for the feedback, Mickyg. I'll definitely go with Milliput on my future builds !.
  18. A true masterpiece !!!. Those VF-4s look beautiful !!!
  19. Yes !!!. That training pod looks awesome !. Keep it up, Ahab !
  20. Hey Mickyg !. Reading/watching your WIP on this Valk is as enjoyable as building one. Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge and expertise with us. I'd like to read about your experience with the Milliput. I've heard great things about it (cures hard, easily sanded down) but I'm more concerned on how much it shrinks while drying. Would like to hear your thoughts about it.
  21. Your work is more than awesome !. Hands down !!
  22. HLJ published the box art for this kit and it is shown available for sale, in "Low Stock" and marked as a "Preorder" on the main portal. One more time, the box art is a true masterpiece (I'm guessing it was Tenjin's artwork like the previous ones). http://www.hlj.com/product/hsg65822
  23. Definitely a gloss coat for the fan racer, imho. It's a sport aircraft, meant to be colorful and shiny, like an exotic car.
