  1. incredible! might be a fun alternative to airsoft which is completely banned in my country. I bet the cops and customs here would still bitch about even mildly realistic looking toy guns though. I don`t know anything about Nerf but I suspect that M4 is mostly customed. What base did you use for it and do you have an online resource for modding?
  2. Even if that one off sells for close to $1000? Yeah I have noticed the tightening of Japanese copyright law. Recently Levis in Japan cracked down on all the vintage reproduction jeans makers who used Levis style arcs and a red tab on the back pockets of their jeans.
  3. No I`m not, fundamentally Communists like sharing. That covers their approach to IP law aswell, they completely have no respect for ownership.
  4. I haven`t seen the Rainbow Bright movie but I did see an English dub of a great Minky Momo film on TV in the early `90s. Always wanted to track down the original Japanese versions. Does anybody know what it was called in English?
  5. Excuse me but since when does setting up an ongoing business based on someone else`s characters, consisting of a website, prices, detailed pictures and ordering information completely harmless? The site in question clearly is making money from characters a company has spent good money copyrighting to derive future income streams from. If the guy customised the figures, displayed them and maybe even sold one or two in private transactions it would be completely legal and harmless but come on, listing prices on the site and having multiple products available is pretty blatantly IP infringement. If it isn`t then what is IP infringement in your opinion? Should IP law even exist in your opinion or should all characters and creations be able to be used by anyone in any way after they are created? Genuinely interested to know your opinion and reason as to why you have that opinion.
  6. I`m Australian and I know what all those words mean. Of course China operates in the world`s market economy (most of the means of production however are still controlled by the Chinese State domestically) but that doesn`t mean they respect IP law at all. In fact they absolutely do not, because they are Communists among other reasons.
  7. Nice. She sings `karada chuu ni` in the opening lines though and I see it didn`t make the translation. Am I missing something?
  8. Are we allowed to discuss these USB backup dealies that are turning up for PS3 lately? If so is there any way yet to install any video codec I want on my PS3?
  9. I can understand this, I mean the site is like a business, using Kamen Rider logos and scripts. Obviously its more than one or two customs sold on, its a business in direct competition with official high end KR toys and TOEI have a legitimate complaint. If you don`t think their case has any legitamacy at all then I think you should move to Communist China, you would be at home there.
  10. lol, how old are you Shaorin?
  11. 1/3000 Nupetiet please to highlight that the Macross was actually a SMALL ship in the scheme of things. I really like how the Zentraudi craft often dwarfed the venerable title ship. Having them displayed together would awesomely showcase this.
  12. a better shot of the screen where you can see my `90s VAIO icons!! I love VAIO.
  13. Even though its not the biggest for some reason I really like Derex`s collection the most, maybe I like that everything is logically organised and he has some unusual items mixed in.
  14. You can`t really see but I got a Sony DA50ES amp I got used for about $300 (retailed about $2000 in my part of the world back in `98), a cheap Sony Blu-ray deck for region free DVDs and BRs, a japanese PS3, a 40 inch Sony TV doubles as my monitor in my extremely small bedroom (share a house), cheapo Sony speakers (SSB-1000, contrary to internet reviews these don`t sound very good at all. ) that I need to elevate somehow. Get pretty decent/acceptable sound out of the setup though, will upgrade speakers and CD player soon (currently use PS3 with optical which isn`t bad at all and I prefer the sharper more detailed sound of optical) Genuine Sony Japan type R-master keyboard and mouse, VAIO theme downloaded (not a VAIO, just a frankenstein cheapo job tucked in the back of the desk.) No space for my Macross toys in this configuration!! One day I`ll have more space...
  15. Thanks Shaorin, hadn`t heard of that player before. nice but I`m actually not a fan of wood panels.
  16. Very inspiring, it feels like that collection is now perfectly complete. I will have one of these one day (not today as I am poor as hell). It`s really obviously one of the cornerstone key must-haves for any DYRL Macross Yamato collector.
  17. as a Sony fanboy I have to say 89 was a good year for CD players with x7esd coming out aswell. Much like the PD91/3000 is yor dream the x7 esd is mine.
  18. anyone know what lines the SD Minmay and Orgroid are from?
  19. No since 2001 was the first year of the new millenium, 2010 is the last year of this decade. Always remember kids, there was a year 0 before a year 1.

  21. Glad to see so much love for Appleseed here, was the first manga I read in the early 90s. Havent seen the movies, didn't realise they continue the story. I have no love for GITS so avoided the movies assuming they were lame effects fests.
