  1. That is so weird... Below was my ticket. Again these were for pre-orders already paid for in the past (exclusives) such as the VF-1 missile set, VF-31 armor parts, and SHF Balrog. Date: 2019-05-27 11:35:36 Name: Ikegawa Atsuko Message: Hello Thank you for your message We changed the invoice and shipping address for your three orders. Please check them in your account. Please don't hesitate to send another message if you need anything else. Kind Regards Nippon-yasan.com Customer Service Was this reply helpful? yes / no Date: 2019-05-26 01:18:33 Name: Anonymous Email: Anonymous Order Number: #640045, #672299, #682192 Tracking Number: Message: Hello, I have moved residence. Please change the invoice & shipping address for my 3 orders (#640045, #672299, #682192) to my new address at: <Name> <Address> Thank you.
  2. I changed my address last month for 3 existing orders I already paid for. I just logged 1 ticket for all 3 orders, and all 3 orders were updated the very next day. Not sure why you're getting a different experience.
  3. I don't think the button will change. For those wondering if you got a late order or not, I think it's reasonable to assume that if you ordered for the strike parts after N-Y reopened orders (which was a day or 2 ago), you're probably part of the 2nd batch.
  4. Based on what everyone is saying, they basically just want this: "I want a VF-1 that can perfectly replicate the pose and look of every frame of canon animation or official art" Of course that is impossible, so there will never be such a thing as an Ultimate VF-1.
  5. Since when has N-Y been unable to fulfill an order? Even though the 31A took a long time, they still managed to do it while other stores either weren't or only accepted a much smaller number of orders.
  6. If you had ordered all that from Nippon-Yasan, I hope you didn't put them all in one order. If you did, you're gonna have to wait a long time before you get any of these since they will only ship the order once all items are already released/available.
  7. I got mine from NY last Saturday 6/1.
  8. NY up again but Pay Later no longer available. I decided to just bite the bullet and get it over with.
  9. How? It still says on sale soon
  10. Well as a consolation, I don't think it's possible to keep the figure undamaged especially if you transform it a few times. I only fully transformed my Stick's ride armor maybe about 3-4 times and I already got paint damage on his belly, the seat, and probably most unavoidable of all, the ball joints of those piston-like things connected to the front tire. I only realized a few days ago that the ball joint itself is painted. So moving that joint around will eventually rub that off.
  11. Didn't realize the gun barrel recoils when fired.
  12. Not many local shops carry Arcadia valkyries nowadays. I guess it's because the prices of these things have really gone up. The only ones that do off the top of my head are Hobby Korner and another store at the 2nd floor of Shoppesville Plus in Greenhills. Their prices are somewhat comparable (or slightly cheaper) to buying it online + import tax. At least that's what I remember. For me, it's not really worth buying it locally because the trade off for the slightly cheaper price is having to wait a month longer and also having to travel to the shop instead of getting it delivered straight to my home.
  13. I don't think it's exaggerated. One of the last times I had to pay for import tax was when I got the Riobot Shin Getter from Amiami. The declared value was just around 13-14k php if I remember correctly, but I got taxed around 6k php. And this was already the cheaper tax because Amiami doesn't include the shipping cost in their declared invoice. If I had purchased it though HLJ it would have been even more expensive. Not sure if you work for BOC, or if you regularly pay import fees for toys, but from my experience I almost always pay around 40% or so of the total declared value of the item (and yes it's classified as a toy). There are other fixed charges included that are on top of that 22.5%. But regardless, I'm just saying that even if some shops like NY are marked up by let's say 5-10% more than other online retailers, that's still a lot cheaper than having to pay import taxes.
  14. It is the sad truth. That is why NY is a godsend, no matter what other people may say about them. People in the US don't realize how lucky they are to be free from import taxes.
  15. Paying $30 more is okay in exchange for security. If only import taxes were that cheap. For this item I estimate the import tax to my country will be around $200+.
  16. The feet are of a different color on the v2 VS the first version though. But not sure if the plastic would be different as well. I'm thinking it should be the same.
  17. If only Amazon would not declare full amount on the shipping invoice, then I'd go with them over NY for this purchase. But since they and most other retailers don't practice that, then purchasing through NY is the cheapest option for me since it bypasses import taxes.
  18. I guess I'll be the odd man out and say that the movie was more disappointing than rewarding for me. I give it a 6/10. Infinity War was a much better film. While there's a bunch of great moments, it also has a lot of flaws that anyone with critical thinking or common sense would be bothered with. I wish they took more time to think the plot more thoroughly.

Ugh, I forgot that I ordered 2 of the VF-1D, 1 at Amiami and another at Amazon JP. I only really wanted one. Oh well, I guess this will be my way of testing Amazon JP since this was my first order with them. Curious to see how my package will arrive (delivered to my doorstep or Post Office pickup).

Oh so it's a dance move. That makes more sense now. Thanks!

Ah okay. So they're trying to imitate sentai poses. Thanks for the explanation. I used to watch sentai as a kid (Bioman, Shaider, Maskman, etc) many years before Power Rangers ever became a thing in the US. But I still can't find the appeal in people all doing the same exact pose. Maybe that's also why I failed to recognize it. In sentai, everyone's supposed to have a different pose and these are supposed to be a lot more outrageous than the one I keep seeing people do.

I really don't understand that pose. What's it supposed to be doing anyway? It's neither funny nor cute nor cool looking. Wonder why all the kids do it.
  23. Hey, aren't you the fan designer of the Ideas Voltron?
  24. Normally I would pick the Perceval. However, my copy has the dumb banana head lasers which are bent out of shape and I can't straighten them no matter what I do (e.g. blowdryer, hot water, etc). So that detracts a lot from my enjoyment of the unit. If you can manage to get one that has the lasers all straight and nice, definitely the Perceval. But if you are risk averse, then get the Isamu.
  25. I just realized that if Yellow's legs are longer, will that make it harder (or impossible) to place his feet naturally on the foot rest while riding? I checked the pics on the blog and they don't place his feet on them. Not sure if that was intentional or a hint that it can't be done without looking awkward.
