I got my first taste of the first editions yesterday too. They are surprisingly good toys. I also bought the toon accurate custom blasters from Dr Wu and they really complete my Optimus Prime. I got an RID Megatron so Optimus could have someone to play with. While not as good as a FE toy, it'll do for now until Has/Tak ever makes a better voyager Megatron. Overall I'm very satisfied with the FE Prime toys, unlike that piece of junk MP Sideswipe/Lambor that I also got.- 17107 replies

Saw the film this Sunday with the wife and was pleasantly surprised. I had hoped the film spent more time poking fun at older games as I thought the sugar rush sequence was far too long. Still a good film for the kids, and enough video game references to keep old geeks happy.

That is an amazing collection! You sure put a lot of thought into the layout of everything. A pachinko machine and even a capsule machine... Wow a true macross F fan.

http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=TOY-RBT-02850&page=top This is hilarious and reminds me of things like the Keroro gunso combining robot model kits.

No, the chest plate doesn't lock in battroid mode. You just push it as far as it will go until it looks right.

Mine had double tape too. I'm thinking they're all like that.

Do you have any recourse? Can you send it back for a replacement?

Sorry to hear about that Chrono. That seems like such a huge oversight. How does Bandai miss such obvious QC issues? Recieved mine an hour ago too. So far, everything except the right shoulder feels tight. It's just going to get more loose with the sniper rifle attached. The PVC head laser suffers from some mild gashapon disease. There was minimal paint overspray on my copy near the knees but overall it looks good.

611 dollars for a paper craft book! Good god. I would have a heart attack building that since any small mistake would be catastrophic. By the way, Laputa for me with Nausicaa a close second. Laputa was the first movie I ever saw when I was a wee lad in Hong Kong.

Nice collection of gunpla Kicker. How the heck do you find the time to paint all those models between running a business, doing 1/6 scale batman customs. and keeping up with Macross toys? They're not even simple kits either. You got a few PG scale kits that were obviously professionally airbrushed with pre/post shading. Man, those look good, especially the PG aile strike and PG MK-II. I used to airbrush models but between work, keeping up with TF's and Macross, and guitar I have zero time to paint kits...I'm just content with snapping a few unicorn kits together and flat coating them these days.

The metal composite line is dead? I hope that's not true. I mean the GMMC gundam the origin version just came out last year. Oh well, better get busy building an MG banshee.

That was pretty entertaining! I think the choreography is awesome and the magic rings motif multiforms are pretty cool. It's definitely still aimed at kids with comedic elements like the silly henshin prompting phrases "shabadoobie touch to henshin".

Thanks for the heads up! My cannonfodder and naked DYRL roy will finally have super packs.

It's a shame that this never saw the light of day. I'd like to know someday who bought that prototype.
